Dear Lord,

I stand together with others in prayer today asking for intervention of the holy spirit in the father of these boys. May he feel shame and remorse if setting ungodly examples to his children. Touch his heart so that he will realize the error of his ways and take up the cross and follow you. Protect the children from all evil. We pray in the name of the holy trinity. Amen

Dear Lord please touch our sister's heart and mind, show her the way to understanding if she is right or wrong, give her the patience Lord to keep going to keep loving. Dear Lord protect Austin in school, keep him healthy and alert in school may he learn the sciences from his teachers as he learns how to love You from his mother. End this conflict Lord Jesus , end the confrontation may they all live in peace and harmony. Thank you Lord Jesus.

Dear Lord,

Please restore peace to Vida's heart. Give her understanding and guidance. Help her to trust You. Help her to make wise decisions and give her courage to continue to stand for holiness and for You.

Lord help her to see all of this through your eyes and to glimpse that spiritual battle that rages for the souls of these two young men, and even against she and Austin. Help her to know evil cannot touch her or Austin, as your children. It can however taunt and spout its ugly lies.

Father give Vida spiritual discernment, absolute confidence in You, unshakable faith in You and divine protection by Your mighty angels. Let the prayers of the saints stand in the gap for her now. Lord I pray also that she will not grow weary of taking a stand for righteousness. To accept that there may be suffering and ridicule, but in the end justice will reign.

Your own Son, was tortured and blasphemed by his own created beings. When he deserved our worship and gratitude he received mocking and shame. He took it! Out of love for the lost. He gave up glory and all the worship and adoration due Him, to suffer more than any of us are asked to suffer, for love. And he overcame! And we will too, one day.

Help Vida to live in that constant awareness that one day there will be justice, one day the injustices will be over, and the beauty of our eternal lives will far outweigh the ugliness we have faced on this earth. Help her to stand strong Father. Lift her face to focus on You. Help her to hear You say, "Set your eyes on ME, follow ME, obey ME, and leave the consequences to ME." In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father, Jehovah-Shaphat,

I stand in agreement with these prayers and also ask that You give Scott and Jordan a spirit of wisdom, discernment, and prudence...help them to see that what they did was hurtful and sinful towards their mother. Send the Holy Spirit down to convict them of their hurtful words and behavior, open their eyes as to the cruelty they just did. Send love, remorse, and compassion to them, and help them to see that what they did was abusive.

I also pray that they be enlightened as to the huge trap that the demon alcohol represents; Jehovah-Shaphat, lead them to realize that alcohol is a very poor substitute for coping skills, and I ask that You lead them away from this temptation. LORD, there's something in their lives that's missing, LORD...show them Who--Jesus-- it is that they truly need, and give them over to Your Son's ministry. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I lift up Vida, Austin, Scott and Jordan to you today. I pray that Vida's hard work and devotion raising her children will not be under minded by some careless act of her ex-husband. Infuse Scott with your holy spirit so that when he does something inappropriate, he will have panic attacks and will clearly know. I pray that you gather Vida, Jordan and Austin and enclose them with your holy protection. In the name of the Holy Trinity we pray. Amen
