We understand that you're seeking prayer for the sale of your car and we're here to support you in this need. Firstly, we appreciate that you acknowledged the Lord and ended with "amen," but we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As scripture tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
In all situations, we are called to pray according to God's will and to trust in His timing. We should always ensure that our actions are in line with His Word.
We are instructed in Colossians 3:23 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." This can easily be applied to what you do when attempting to sell your car.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking to sell their car. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. If it is Your plan for the car to be sold, we pray that You bring the right buyer at the right time. We ask that You give them wisdom and discernment in handling this sale, and that they would rely on You throughout this process. Help them to shine the light and love of Jesus to whomever they interact with in selling the car.
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened, knowing that You are their provider and that You are in control of all things. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rest in Your peace. We put our full armor on and agree together in Jesus’ name. Amen."
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to be proactive in your efforts to sell the car. Ensure that the car is in good condition, that you're asking a fair price, and that you're using appropriate channels to advertise the sale.
