MSC Prayers

Humble Servant of All
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. This request is for salvation of my family members, loved ones, friends, acquaintances, associates, enemies, colleagues, and co-residents. Please pray for all of my co-residents and caregivers/caretakers possible and definite health issues too. Please pray for all of my co-residents, caregivers/caretakers, and myself; plus all of our and all of their family members, loved ones, friends, acquaintances, associates, colleagues, and enemies too. May God's Will Be Done in all of their lives and all of our lives. I ask this in Jesus' Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

We join with you in this beautiful and expansive prayer for salvation and we commend your heart that longs to see so many saved, even including enemies, acquaintances and associates, for this reflects the very heart of God. We are reminded that this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires to have all men to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4. And we know the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. Your desire to pray for enemies is especially pleasing to the Lord, for Jesus said, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44. We also hear your heart for health and wholeness for your co-residents and caregivers and caretakers and for all of their families and loved ones. We are called to offer petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, 1 Timothy 2:1, and we know God cares for our bodies as well as our souls. He says, I am Yahweh who heals you, Exodus 15:26, and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17, and we cling to the promise to Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3.

We rejoice that you asked this in Jesus Precious and Holy Name, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that any of those you have lifted up can be saved, and we pray with confidence because you have come by that name.

We pray together now, Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up every person mentioned in this request. Lord, we ask for Your saving grace to fall upon each family member, loved one, friend, acquaintance, associate, colleague, co-resident, caregiver and caretaker, and even every enemy. Draw each one by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, grant them repentance and faith to believe that Jesus died for their sins and rose again. We pray that none would perish but that all would come to know You. We ask that Your will be done in every life represented here, just as it is in heaven, and that You would be glorified in their salvation. Father, we also lift up every health need, both definite and possible, among the co-residents and caregivers and caretakers and ourselves and all their families. Lay Your healing hand upon them, grant wisdom to those who provide care, give strength and endurance to caregivers, and bring comfort and peace to all who are suffering or anxious about their health. Provide for every physical, emotional and spiritual need according to Your riches in glory. We thank You that You hear our prayers when we pray according to Your will and in the name of Jesus, and we trust You to work in each life in Your perfect timing. In Jesus Precious and Holy Name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in this intercession, for the prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect. Keep sharing the hope of the gospel as God gives opportunity, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ, and continue to love and serve those around you, including your co-residents and those who care for you, as a living testimony of the grace you have received. May the Lord comfort you and fill you with peace as you entrust all these precious souls into His loving and sovereign hands.

Thank you for sharing such a wide and loving burden with us. Your heart for family, friends, coworkers, caregivers, co-residents, even enemies, and for their health and salvation really comes through, and we are honored to stand with you in it.

Carrying so many people in prayer can feel heavy at times, especially when you are also living closely with those who need care. We find it helps to keep it sustainable rather than trying to hold everyone at once. If it helps, you might keep a simple list by category and lift a few names each day, trusting God hears each one and knows each need even when we pray generally. And as you pray may Your will be done, you are placing every person exactly where they need to be, in His capable hands.

We also hear your concern for health needs among co-residents and caregivers. Alongside prayer, we encourage anyone with ongoing or concerning symptoms to connect with their doctor or care team for support.

Father, we lift to You this one praying and every person they have named, those close and those far, friends and those who have been difficult. Draw each one to Yourself through Jesus, meet their health and daily needs according to Your wisdom, and give peace and strength to caregivers and residents alike. We trust them to Your good will. In Jesus precious and holy name, amen.

It is a good thing that the Lord has written this large intercession upon your heart, for it is God that writes intercession upon men's hearts and moves His people to pray for others. You have risen out of narrow care for yourself into the broader region of care for your fellow sinners, and in this you are in sympathy with our Divine Savior who made intercession for the transgressors.

We will join you in praying that salvation may come to all those you have named, to family members and loved ones, to friends and acquaintances, to associates and colleagues, to coresidents and to those who care for you, and even to enemies. Yet we must set before you and before them the plain Gospel of salvation by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus, for there is no other way. Salvation is of the Lord alone. There is no salvation to be obtained from priests or forms and ceremonies, nor from any other name under heaven. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, to look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. It is to trust in His Person, to depend upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. It is without money and without price, and whosoever will may come and look and live. Faith must be urged, for without it there is no salvation. May the Holy Spirit, who maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God, work in their hearts to bring them to repentance and to this simple faith in the Lord Jesus.

We will pray also for the health issues you mention for your coresidents and for those who care for you, and for yourself. We know that our Lord Jesus Christ is that Tree of Life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and there is abundance of healing power in Him. When He dwells with His people the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are found together in Him. We ask the Lord to lay His pardoning and healing hand upon each one, to grant strength to the caregivers and comfort to the afflicted, and to keep their souls in perpetual health by His grace until the glory life begins when He shall perfectly heal both soul and body. We ask not according to our wisdom, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but we ask that His will be done in all their lives and in your own, for His will is holy and good and wise.

Persevere in this intercession. It is a part of Christ's priestly office to make intercession for His people within the veil, and He calls His people to share in that work. If you desire the salvation of any, tell them as best you can what their condition is and what the way of salvation is and how they may find rest in Christ. Continue to bring them before the throne of grace, and may the Lord hear and answer according to His infinite mercy in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before God with thanksgiving. It is good and right that you ask for the salvation of so many, for family and loved ones, for friends and acquaintances, for colleagues and co-residents, for caregivers and even for enemies. This breadth of love reflects the mercy of God who desires that all should come to repentance.

We pray with confidence because we have a High Priest who ever lives to make intercession for us. He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him. It is not by our own worth but by His continual intercession that salvation is offered. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved except Jesus Christ alone, and it is through faith in His cross and resurrection that any soul passes from death to life. For those who do not yet know Him, the word of the cross may seem as foolishness, but we do not cease to weep and to pray for them, that their eyes may be opened to the wisdom and power of God. So I pray that God will draw each person you named to Himself, that they may hear the gospel, believe, and be saved, according to His perfect will.

I also lift up the health needs you mentioned for your co-residents and for those who care for them, and for yourself. We ask God for mercy in bodily infirmity, for strength for caregivers, for comfort in suffering, and above all for the health of the soul which remains when all else passes. True riches and true health are not found in outward abundance but in a heart made whole by Christ, able to endure every trial. May the Lord grant healing where it is His will, and sustain all with patience and endurance in affliction, and guide the hands of those who provide care.

May God keep you watchful in prayer and steadfast in hope, preserving what you have received and calling those who are still far off to arise and come to Him. We commit all of these people and all of these needs to the Father, asking that His will be done in every life, for His will is good and leads to salvation.

Father, in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask You to have mercy on all these souls, to grant them repentance and faith, to forgive their sins through the blood of Christ, and to heal and sustain the sick and those who care for them according to Your wisdom. Let Your will be done in each life, for Your glory. Amen.
