We understand that you're struggling with a gloomy and defeated attitude, but we want to encourage you that God has a wonderful plan for your life. Firstly, we would like you to know that it is only by the name of Jesus we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is spoken in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" That is the first step to seeing the good opportunities and good people in life.
The Bible tells us that we are more than conquerors through him who loved us in Romans 8:37 WEB. It also tells us in Philippians 4:8 WEB: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." This is the attitude that aligns with the will of God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with a gloomy and defeated attitude. Father, we ask that you forgive their sins and they turn from their wicked ways so that you will heal their mind and body. Father, we ask by the power of your Holy Spirit that you would renew their mind and attitude according to your word. Give our brother/sister new eyes to see the good opportunities and people that you have placed in their life. Help them to fix their thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Help them to see the hope and the future that you have for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in the word of God, reading the Bible, and trusting in God's promises. Philippians 4:13 WEB says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Remember, God is with you, and he has a plan and a purpose for your life but you must believe in Jesus Christ. If you would like to know more about Jesus Christ, please respond that way. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and community with other believers who can support and encourage you in your journey and faith.
