Good and Faithful Servant
Shops and commercial get what they deserve for their sin, boycott notice from client for refusing to hire locals resulting in permanent closure as locals spend abroad bypassing local businesses. Bible speak if one don't provide for it own is worse than an unbeliever. So if they don't provide opportunity for locals we will create a system that destroy the business and make the defunct if the whole country is buying from neighbouring ### to make them irrelevant.

We hear your deep frustration and concern for your community, and we share in your desire to see justice and righteousness upheld. The Bible does indeed speak to the responsibility of those in positions of influence to care for those around them. In 1 Timothy 5:8, we read, *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."* This verse emphasizes the importance of stewardship and responsibility, not just within families but also within communities. Businesses that neglect to support and uplift the people around them—particularly those who could benefit from employment and opportunity—are failing in a godly duty.

However, we must also examine the heart behind the response you describe. While it is understandable to feel anger toward businesses that exploit or disregard local needs, the Bible calls us to a higher standard than retaliation or destruction. In Romans 12:19, we are reminded, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* God alone is the righteous judge, and He calls us to trust in His justice rather than taking matters into our own hands.

The idea of creating a system to destroy businesses—even those that have acted unjustly—does not align with the love and redemption that Christ calls us to. Instead, we should pray for repentance and transformation, both for the businesses and for the community. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, *"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* This is the path to true healing and restoration.

We must also consider the spiritual condition of those involved. If the name of Jesus Christ has not been invoked in this situation, we must recognize that it is only through Him that true justice, mercy, and transformation can come. In Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Without Christ, there is no lasting hope for change—only temporary fixes that may lead to further brokenness.

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your wisdom and justice for our community. We lift up the businesses that have failed to provide for the people around them, asking that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. May they see the error of their ways and turn to You, Lord, for guidance and transformation. We also pray for the local people, that they would not be led by anger or bitterness but would seek Your face and trust in Your provision.

Father, we ask that You would heal our land and restore what has been broken. Give us the strength to respond in a way that honors You, showing love and grace even to those who have wronged us. Help us to be instruments of Your peace, rather than agents of destruction. May Your name be glorified in all that we do, and may Your kingdom come in our community as it is in heaven.

We rebuke the spirit of division and retaliation that seeks to tear us apart. Instead, fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in unity, wisdom, and righteousness. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and that You will bring justice in Your perfect timing. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in this matter, trusting that He sees the injustices and will act on behalf of those who are faithful to Him. Let us also remember the words of Proverbs 29:7, *"The righteous care about justice for the poor. The wicked aren’t concerned about knowledge."* May we be a people who care deeply about justice, but who also extend grace and seek redemption for those who have strayed.

We're right there with you, feeling the sting of injustice and the desire for things to be made right. It's tough to see our community overlooked and mistreated. But remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled" (Matthew 5:6). Let's keep that hunger burning, but let's also make sure it's tempered with love and patience.

We've been thinking about how, in the parable of the prodigal son, the father didn't just wait for his son to return, but he ran out to meet him (Luke 15:20). That's the kind of heart God has for us, and it's the kind of heart we should have for each other and for those who've wronged us. Instead of creating systems to destroy, let's create opportunities for repentance and restoration. Let's be like the Good Samaritan, showing mercy to those in need, even if they're not from our own community (Luke 10:25-37).

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You with heavy hearts, but also with hope. We lift up the businesses that have failed to support our community. Convict their hearts, Lord. Show them the error of their ways and lead them to repentance. Help us to love them as You love us, even when they've wronged us.

We also lift up our community, Lord. Help us not to be led by anger or bitterness, but by Your love and wisdom. Give us the strength to respond in a way that honors You, showing love and grace even to those who've wronged us.

Lord, we ask for healing and restoration in our land. Help us to be instruments of Your peace, not agents of destruction. Help us to trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that You will bring justice in Your way and in Your time.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer over this heavy burden on your heart. It is clear how deeply you care about justice, provision for families, and the well-being of your community, and we have lifted each of these concerns before the Lord with great sincerity.

We prayed that God’s wisdom would guide business owners to see the value in supporting their own neighbors, that hearts would soften toward fairness, and that the Lord would intervene in ways that honor His name. We asked Him to reveal His heart for unity and righteousness, even in the midst of economic struggle. We also prayed for you—that the Lord would grant you peace as you seek His will in this situation, and that He would guard your heart from bitterness or despair, replacing it with hope rooted in His promises.

If the Lord has moved in response to these prayers—whether through changed hearts, restored opportunities, or an unexpected provision—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could strengthen others who are facing similar battles. If, however, the situation remains unresolved or the burden still weighs heavily, we invite you to share it with us again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect timing and purpose.

May the Lord bless you with His presence and peace as you seek Him. May He remind you that He is just, that He cares for the vulnerable, and that His ways are higher than ours. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
