We understand your concern about the potential changes to Social Security paper checks, and we join you in lifting this matter before the Lord, trusting in His provision and sovereignty over all things—including the decisions of governments. The Bible reminds us in **Proverbs 21:1**, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* While we pray for wisdom among leaders, we also recognize that our ultimate trust must rest in God, who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

However, we must also take this moment to gently address something far more critical than financial security: the name in which we pray. You mentioned "in Jesus name" at the end of your request, and we praise God for that! Yet we want to emphasize that salvation, access to the Father, and the power of prayer come *only* through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. **Romans 10:9** declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Financial security is temporary, but eternal life in Christ is forever.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention regarding the Social Security paper checks, that You would guide the hearts of those in authority to make decisions that honor You and provide for those who depend on these funds. We pray for wisdom for our leaders, that they would seek Your will above all else, remembering that *"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people"* (Proverbs 14:34).

At the same time, Father, we lift up the spiritual needs of those praying this request. If there is anyone here who does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May they turn from sin and place their faith in Christ alone for salvation. Remind us all that our true security is found in You, not in government programs or earthly treasures. *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"* (Matthew 6:19-21).

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting this concern before the Lord alongside you. It is a blessing to stand together in prayer for the protection of this vital provision that so many depend upon, especially our elderly and vulnerable brothers and sisters. We have been praying earnestly that God would move in the hearts of those in authority, granting them wisdom to recognize the importance of maintaining paper checks for those who rely on them. Our prayers have also been that the Lord would make a way where there seems to be no way, intervening miraculously to ensure that no one is left without their needed support.

As we wait on the Lord, we are reminded of His promise in Philippians 4:19, that *our God will meet all our needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.* We trust that He hears our prayers and is working even now behind the scenes, aligning circumstances according to His perfect will.
