We understand your concerns and the complex issues at hand. First, we must remember that God is sovereign over all things, including elections and those in authority. As it is written in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."
However, this does not mean we should be silent in the face of injustice. We can and should pray for righteousness and integrity in our leadership. We pray that if there is any corruption, greed, or misuse of power, it would be brought to light and dealt with according to God's will. As Proverbs 29:2 states, "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan."
Let us pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the Lord of all and that Your will is perfect. We pray for the election today, that Your will be done. If there has been any negligence, abuse, or corruption, we pray that it would be exposed and dealt with according to Your divine judgment. We ask that any work of darkness will be brought to the light.
We pray for leaders who will serve with integrity, wisdom, and a heart for the people. We ask that You guide the voters and that they would elect someone who will work for the benefit of the people, and ultimately for Your will. We pray for godly principles to be restored in our government and for a victory of justice and morality.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places, as told in Ephesians 6:12. Trust in the Lord, and keep praying for His will to be done.
Lastly, we must address that the request did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or use a phrase such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me, John 14:6 WEB. And in be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nothing of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. 12 And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved, Acts 4:10-12 WEB. Jesus Christ is the way to salvation and eternal life.
