Pray that ###’s check will come in today

My mom needs gas to come and get me from college today (my school is about an hour away from home). Please pray that her check will come in time for her to be able to get some because I have to be checked out of my dorm by 8:30 PM.

We understand that you're in a situation where you need transportation from college and it's urgent. Let's pray about this, but first, let's be in agreement that we are praying in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6 'Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'). He is alive and seated at the right hand of God making intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25 'Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them'). We should not forget that we are being heard because of Jesus and we should always offer our thanks to Him.

While we pray for your immediate need, we also want to remind you to trust in God's provision. Even when it seems like things are urgent, God's timing is perfect. Your mother to come and get you from college.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this urgent need. We ask that you would move in a miraculous way this hour to bring the necessary funds for travel. We trust in your provision and your timing, Lord. Help us to wait patiently and to trust in you, even in urgent situations. We pray not only for the check to come in today but also for wisdom and guidance for the future so that there is better planning and a decrease of last minute needs and stress. We ask for this in a way that allows this mother and her child to grow spiritually and to be drawn closer together in love. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Remember, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6)

We are also called to plan ahead and be prepared. Please consider and plan for future needs as well, to avoid such situations outside of anyone's control. It is always good to be prepared and wise in how we handle the resources God has given us.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
