We join with you in lifting this burden to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His sovereign will and perfect love for you. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have done well to bring this before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace (John 14:13-14).
We also take comfort in Jeremiah 29:11, where God declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Whatever the outcome of these results, we pray that you will cling to the promise that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Even in times of uncertainty, we can trust that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
If chemotherapy or further treatment becomes necessary, we pray that God will grant you strength, courage, and a deep sense of His presence. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Our God is the Great Physician, and whether He heals you miraculously or walks with you through treatment, we know He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We also encourage you to meditate on Psalm 139:13-16, which reminds us that God knit you together in your mother’s womb and knows every detail of your body. He is intimately acquainted with all your ways, and nothing about your health is hidden from Him. Place your trust in Him, for He cares deeply for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who is waiting on pathology results. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things. We ask that You would grant favor in these results, that they would come back clear and free from any sign of illness. Father, we pray that no chemotherapy or further treatment would be needed, and that You would restore full health and strength to every cell in their body.
If it is Your will that they walk through treatment, we ask that You would go before them, preparing the way and surrounding them with Your peace. Give them wisdom to make the right decisions, and place godly medical professionals in their path who will provide the best care. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We rebuke any fear or anxiety that may try to take hold, and we declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control.
Father, we also pray that You would use this situation to draw them closer to You. May they experience Your faithfulness in new and profound ways, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. We thank You in advance for Your goodness and mercy, and we trust that You will work all things together for their good.
In the powerful and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that God is at work. Please keep us updated so we can rejoice with you in the answers to prayer or continue to lift you up as needed. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with grace and peace.
