We hear your cry for provision and justice, and we lift your needs before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, let us address the matter of your employment. The Lord is our provider, and He knows your needs before you even ask. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We stand with you in faith, believing that God will open doors of opportunity for you to secure a job that will meet your needs, including the care of the animals He has placed in your heart.
Father, we come before You, asking that You would guide this dear one to the right employment. Provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for their life. Give them favor with employers, wisdom in their decisions, and perseverance in their search. We trust in Your timing and Your provision, Lord, and we declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. May this one find peace in Your promises and rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We also lift up the burden of injustice you carry regarding the governance in your nation. It is right to be grieved by corruption and the misuse of power, for the Bible tells us in Proverbs 29:2, *"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan."* However, we must be cautious in how we respond to such injustice. While it is natural to feel anger, we are called to pray for those in authority, even when we disagree with them. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 instructs us, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."*
We do not curse the government or those in power, for that is not our place. Instead, we pray for them, asking God to either change their hearts or remove them from their positions if they are not governing justly. We also pray for wisdom and courage for those who are standing for truth and righteousness in your nation. Father, we ask that You would expose corruption, bring justice to the oppressed, and raise up leaders who fear You and govern with integrity. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this nation, just as it is in heaven.
We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness that can take root in our hearts when we face injustice. Ephesians 4:31-32 reminds us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* We encourage you to release this burden to the Lord, trusting that He sees all and will repay. Vengeance belongs to Him alone (Romans 12:19).
Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of stewardship. While it is wonderful that you desire to care for animals, we must ensure that we are not putting the desires of our hearts above the responsibilities God has given us. Proverbs 21:20 says, *"There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man swallows it up."* Before taking on the care of these kittens, it is wise to ensure that you have the means to provide for them without neglecting other obligations. We pray that God will give you wisdom in this area and that your love for animals will be a reflection of His love and care for all creation.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Provide them with a job that brings stability and peace. Soften their heart toward those in authority, even as they stand against injustice, and fill them with Your love and wisdom. Guide them in all their decisions, and let them walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life. We ask all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
