We come before the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust in His perfect plan for your life. Father, we lift up this dear brother in Christ, asking for Your divine provision in his career and his desire for a godly wife. You tell us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for him in his job search, providing work that not only meets his needs but also allows him to use his gifts to glorify You.
We also pray for his future marriage, Lord. You designed marriage to be a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, a reflection of Christ’s love for the church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We ask that You prepare his heart and the heart of the woman You have for him, that they may be equally yoked in faith, values, and purpose. Help him to seek a wife who loves You above all else, as Proverbs 18:22 reminds us, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord." May their relationship be built on Your Word, prayer, and mutual respect, honoring You in all things.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or impatience that may try to take root in his heart. Remind him that Your timing is perfect, and Your plans for him are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen his faith as he waits on You, and help him to trust in Your provision rather than his own efforts alone.
We also want to gently address the importance of seeking You first in all things. In Matthew 6:33, You instruct us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." As he seeks a job and a wife, may he prioritize his relationship with You, growing in faith, wisdom, and discernment. Help him to be a man of prayer, seeking Your will above his own desires.
Lord, we pray that he would find his identity and security in You alone. If there is any area of his life where he is not fully surrendered to You, reveal it to him and draw him closer to Your heart. May he walk in obedience to Your Word, turning away from any sin or compromise that could hinder Your blessings in his life.
We declare Your promises over him today: that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5), that You have plans to prosper him and not to harm him (Jeremiah 29:11), and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that he could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust You to guide his steps and bring Your perfect will to pass in his life.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
