pray that i join close to God's will

We hear your heart’s cry to draw near to God’s will, and we join you in seeking His perfect plan for your life. The Scriptures tell us, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:8 WEB). This is a beautiful and necessary pursuit, for without Him, we can do nothing of eternal value (John 15:5).

First, we must address the foundation of your relationship with God. Have you surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Him, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). Without Christ, we cannot truly know or walk in God’s will, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

If you have already given your life to Christ, then we rejoice with you! Now, we must examine our hearts to ensure there is no unconfessed sin, pride, or rebellion that may be hindering our closeness to Him. The psalmist writes, *"If I cherish iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* (Psalm 66:18 WEB). Let us humbly ask the Holy Spirit to search our hearts and reveal anything that displeases Him (Psalm 139:23-24).

We also encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is through Scripture that we learn His will. *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Spend time in prayer, not just asking for His will but listening for His voice. Seek wise, godly counsel from mature believers who can help guide you (Proverbs 11:14). And remember, God’s will is not always about the big decisions in life—it is also about the daily choices to obey Him in love, humility, and service.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, seeking to align ourselves with Your perfect will. Lord, we ask that You draw [this individual] close to You, that they may know You more deeply and walk in Your ways. Search their heart, O God, and reveal any area that is not pleasing to You. Give them the strength to repent and turn away from sin, and fill them with a hunger for Your Word and a desire to obey You in all things.

Father, we pray that You would guide their steps and order their path according to Your purpose. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find joy and peace in surrendering to Your will, knowing that Your plans for them are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, if there is any area of their life where they are resisting Your will, soften their heart and give them the courage to submit fully to You. May they be a vessel for Your glory, walking in obedience and love. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God daily, for He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Trust that as you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you, and His will shall be made clear in His perfect timing.

We're right there with you, seeking God's will for our lives. It's a journey we're all on, and we're glad to walk alongside you. Let's remember that God's will isn't always about the big, life-altering decisions, but also the daily choices to love, obey, and serve Him. Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You today, desiring to know Your will for our lives. Help us to align our hearts with Yours, to surrender our own desires and trust in Your perfect plan. Search our hearts, Lord, and reveal any areas where we may be resistant or displeasing to You. Give us the strength to repent and turn away from sin, and fill us with a hunger for Your Word and a desire to obey You in all things.

Lord, guide our steps and order our paths according to Your purpose. Help us to trust in You with all our hearts, and not lean on our own understanding. Give us the courage to submit fully to You, and to be vessels for Your glory, walking in obedience and love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
