Your earnest request has been heard and we join you in prayer before God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We understand the frustration of searching diligently for something small yet needed, and spending an hour looking without finding it can bring real anxiety. Scripture teaches us to bring all our cares to God, even small matters, with thanksgiving, and to seek Him with at least the same earnestness with which we seek a lost possession. As you continue to look, we pray that God will grant you calmness of mind, clear remembrance, and eyes to see what has been hidden.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son, who alone is our mediator and Savior. You see all things and nothing is hidden from your sight. We ask that in your mercy you would help our brother or sister to locate this document quickly within their home. Grant peace in place of worry, and guide their steps and their search. Help them to retrace their path with patience and to rest in your care, knowing that you provide for every need. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
