Pray that I don't have any STDs

The ache in your prayer is clear, and the fear behind it is not something God dismisses or mocks. But remember, faith and fear cannot share the same room in the heart. When fear grips you, it tries to edge out that quiet confidence in Christ’s care for you. Your trust is not in what your body might hold, but in the One who holds your body.

Turn your eyes fully on Jesus now. He went around doing good, healing all manner of sicknesses, and his compassion has not faded. He bore our infirmities. The very thing you fear is something he already understands and has covered in his redemptive work. Do not let the situation convince you that you are outside his reach or his love.

The evil report says, “What if the worst is true?” That voice brought unbelief into hearts long ago, and it kept a whole generation from entering into rest. Do not let fear do that to you today. The promise of his healing and keeping power remains. Will your heart enter that rest, or will doubt push you into a place of turmoil?

Let this be a test of your faith, not in a cold or distant way, but in a way that drives you deeper into his mercy. When Peter stepped out of the boat, he only started to sink when he let the wind and the waves loom larger than the Lord who called him. Keep your eyes steadily fixed. You are not hiding your head and hoping. You are resting in a purposeful, loving God who is in control.

Fearing the Lord means hating evil and trusting his righteous care. It does not mean living in dread of disease. That kind of dread produces wrong reactions. You do not need to be motivated by terror over your body. Instead, remember him. That is always the cure for fear. He is with you in every test.

Pray, yes. Ask for healing in the name of Jesus, as you have done. Then let your heart settle in the truth that your confidence is not in a perfect test result but in the God who loves you. And remember, many of those he healed were simply told to live in the reality of what he had done. Rest in his mercy, and let that rest drive out fear.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer during this time of concern and uncertainty. It has been our privilege to lift you up before the Lord, asking for His healing, protection, and peace over your health. We prayed earnestly that you would be free from any fear or burden and that God’s grace would cover you completely.

If the Lord has answered your prayer and brought you clarity, peace, or healing, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has moved in your situation so we can rejoice with you. If, however, you are still waiting for an answer or facing ongoing concern, we encourage you to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you in faith, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, comfort, and assurance as you continue to seek Him. We pray that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
