Pray that I do well in my new position at work

First, I must thank God and give praise, because he sent a person to stand up for me at work! It is a person who is a new manager. I am so grateful for this. Thank you, Jesus! Please pray that my job is protected and that I can do well when I start my new position next week. Please help me get off to a good start. Please help me clean and organize my home and get car repairs done. I pray that the repairs will be a fair price. You know what is going on, Father and the worries on my mind. thank you for praying. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We rejoice with you in thanksgiving to God for His goodness and for sending this new manager to stand up for you at work. It is the Lord who lifts up and establishes our steps, and we give Him praise with you for His provision and favor. We are reminded that promotion and protection come from Him, as it is written, For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another. Psalm 75:6-7

We join you in praying for your new position beginning next week, that the Lord would establish the work of your hands and help you get off to a good and strong start. We pray that you would work with diligence and integrity as unto the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24 Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3 We pray for wisdom, favor with your managers and coworkers, quick understanding of your new duties, and a spirit of excellence and humility in all you do.

We also bring before the Lord your home and your car repairs. We pray that God would give you strength, discipline and peace as you clean and organize your home, for God desires order and stewardship, Let all things be done decently and in order. 1 Corinthians 14:40 And concerning your car, we pray for honest and fair labor, for provision to cover the cost, and for protection from being taken advantage of. May the Lord guide you to trustworthy hands and provide all that you need, for your Father knows what you need before you ask.

We know you have many worries on your mind, and we are comforted that our Father sees and cares for every detail. We encourage you to cast all your cares upon Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 If you need wisdom for any decision at work or at home, ask of God, for He gives generously. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You in the name of Jesus Christ for Your mercy and for raising up this new manager to advocate for our dear one at work. We praise You for Your hand of protection and favor. Lord, we ask that You protect this job and establish this new position according to Your will. Grant wisdom, understanding, confidence and grace to do the work well and to be a light for You in that workplace. Help our dear one to get off to a good start, to learn quickly, to be diligent and to find favor with all. Father, we ask for energy and order in the home, help to clean and organize faithfully as a good steward of what You have provided. And Lord, we ask for Your provision and protection regarding the car repairs, lead to honest mechanics and a fair price, and supply every need according to Your riches in glory. Calm every worry and fill the heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding. We trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your note of thanksgiving. It is a gift when God provides someone to stand up for you at work, and we join you in thanking Him for this new manager and for the open door to a new position.

Starting something new next week can bring both hope and pressure, and it makes sense you want to get off to a good, steady start while also carrying worries about home and your car. We are praying with you for protection over your job and for clarity and steadiness as you learn the new role.

A couple of small steps that may help this week: consider writing down the two or three most important things you want to learn or do well in your first days, and ask your manager early on what success looks like to them. That can give you a clear focus. For home and car, it can help to break things into one small task at a time, maybe one area to clean or organize each day, and to get a written estimate for the car repairs so you can compare and have peace about a fair price.

Father, we thank You for providing help at work and for this new opportunity. We ask You to give our friend wisdom, calm and diligence as they begin, to guard their work, and to provide for their home and car needs according to Your care. Lead them and give them peace as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in giving thanks to our gracious God who has shown you such kindness in His providence. It is the Lord who raises up friends in due season, and we praise Him with you for this new manager whom He has used to stand up for you and to open this new position before you. Such mercies are not by chance, for the same hand that tried Job and afterwards turned his captivity is the hand that orders our steps in daily life.

We will pray that the Lord will establish the work of your hands as you enter upon this new duties next week. May He grant you wisdom, diligence and a quiet spirit, that you may do all as unto Christ and not unto men. Job kept right with God under trial and sinned not with his lips, and we pray that you too may be kept in patience and faithfulness, so that your new beginning may be marked by integrity, humility and a steady trust in Him who has placed you there. We ask the Lord to protect your employment and to make you a blessing in that place, that your conduct may adorn the gospel.

We also bring before the throne your home and your daily cares. He who numbers the hairs of our head is not unmindful of the humblest temporal want. We pray that He will give you strength and orderliness of mind to clean and set in order your dwelling, and that He will provide honest and fair dealings for the repairs upon your car. May He guide the hands that do the work and keep you from being imposed upon, for our Father knows what things we have need of before we ask Him.

You speak of worries that lie upon your mind, and we would encourage you not to restrain prayer before God, but to pour out your heart with childlike confidence even as Job learned to do when the Lord revealed Himself. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Our longest sorrows have an end when God has accomplished His purpose in them, and He is able to support you through every burden and to turn your anxiety into peace.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank You for Your mercy shown to this Your servant in providing help and an open door. We ask You to cover this new position with Your favour, to grant skill, understanding and grace to begin well and to continue faithfully. Provide for the needs of home and for the work upon the car, and let all be done at a just and fair cost. Quiet the worries of the heart and fill it with trust in Your good providence. Keep this Your child abiding in Christ Jesus, in whose name alone is salvation and hope, and let all be done to Your glory. Amen.
