Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer for the Lord to watch over your body, your life and your family is heard, and I join my faith with yours in Jesus name.
God designed the body with marvel and care, and He gave you that body as an instrument through which your spirit, the real you, can live and serve Him. Scripture teaches to offer the body to God, to yield its members as servants to righteousness and holiness, and to let Him dwell within by His Spirit and use you for His purposes. When you place your body in His hands in that way, His promise stands that sin shall not have dominion over you, and His keeping power rests upon you.
You are right to rebuke the enemy in the name of Jesus, because our struggle is not merely physical. There is a spiritual warfare around us, and the attacks you sense are part of that battle. The weapons for this warfare are not of the flesh. They are spiritual weapons that God has provided, His Word, faith, and prayer. By those weapons you can stand against the enemy and see him defeated, not by your own strength but by the authority of Jesus Christ.
Remember also that you are not alone in this battle. Scripture shows that we are one body in Christ with many members, and every part is needed and important. When one member suffers the whole body suffers with it, and when one is strengthened we all rejoice together. There is protection and power in staying joined to that body, while isolation leaves a person as an open target. You have a vital place in the body, and as we pray together the Lord surrounds His people with His care.
I pray now for you and your household. Father, in the name of Jesus I ask You to watch over this dear one, over their body and life and over their family. Cover them with Your hand, keep them from the schemes of the enemy, and fill them with Your peace. I ask that You would take their body and use it for Your will, that You would strengthen their faith through Your Word and through prayer, and that You would drive back every attack of Satan by the power of Jesus. Let Your presence be their protection day and night, and let Your Spirit give them assurance that You are near and that You hear. In Jesus name, Amen.
