We hear your cry for protection and help in your struggle, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your needs to our Heavenly Father. The Word of God assures us that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone in your battle, for the Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul (Psalm 121:5-7).
However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and life in the light of Scripture. Are there areas where you may have strayed from God’s commands or resisted His will? The Bible tells us, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" (Psalm 66:18). We urge you to confess any known sin and turn away from it, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). True protection and deliverance come when we walk in obedience to God’s Word.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no one else.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your protection and help. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would watch over them, surround them with Your angels, and shield them from every scheme of the enemy. Protect their mind, body, and spirit from harm, and grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we ask that You would reveal to them any areas of their life that are not aligned with Your will. Give them the strength and courage to repent and turn away from sin, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit to walk in obedience to Your Word. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for Your divine intervention in their struggle. Whether it is a battle of the mind, a physical ailment, financial hardship, or spiritual warfare, we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
If they have not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their heart to receive the gift of salvation. May they confess Jesus as Lord and experience the new life that comes only through Him.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). May they walk in the fullness of Your protection, provision, and peace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life—of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stand firm in His promises, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We are standing with you in prayer and faith.
