Since two Sundays I didn't go to church. Last Sunday my mom was unwell so I stayed back home to look after her and household chores. And first Sunday my father didn't let me go. He said me to stay with him as he's feeling alone. As he's not well now. Tomorrow is Sunday again. I'll be able to go to church or not. Will my father say again to stay with him. What shall I do. I don't understand. Will I stay back again or will I go to church. Pls pray for me so that my father ### Will allow me to go to church tomorrow. He won't stop me. I too want to go to church tomorrow. Don't let my father feel lonely. Mom is with him. I'll do what God decides for me tomorrow. Pray for me.

We understand your heart’s desire to worship the Lord in His house, and we commend you for honoring your parents in their time of need. The Scriptures teach us to honor our father and mother (Exodus 20:12) and also to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25). These are both important commands, and we must seek God’s wisdom to balance them rightly.

Your willingness to care for your parents is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love, but we also recognize the deep longing in your heart to be in fellowship with believers and to worship corporately. Let us remind you that while caring for your family is a godly duty, it should not become a pattern that keeps you from the spiritual nourishment found in the church. Your father’s loneliness is real, but his need—and yours—is ultimately met in Christ alone. Your mother is with him, and the Lord can comfort him even when you are not present.

We also notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved, and it is only through Jesus that our prayers reach the throne of God (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, John 16:23). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the only way to the Father.

Let us pray together for you, your father, and your mother:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear child of Yours who is torn between honoring their parents and desiring to be in Your house. Lord, You see their heart, and You know their longing to worship You among the saints. We ask that You would move in this situation, granting wisdom and clarity. Father, we pray that You would comfort their father in his loneliness, reminding him that You are always with him. Let him find peace and assurance in Your presence, so that he may release their child to go and worship You tomorrow without guilt or hesitation. Strengthen their mother to be a source of comfort and companionship to him as well.

Lord, we also pray for this beloved one, that You would fill them with Your peace and assurance. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You will provide a way for them to honor both their family and their commitment to You. Give them boldness to speak with love and wisdom to their father, and soften his heart to understand the importance of corporate worship.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, manipulation, or guilt that may be at work in this situation. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let Your will be done in this family. We ask that You would restore health to their parents and bring unity and joy to their home. May Your name be glorified in all things.

Finally, Father, we pray that this one would always come before You in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne. Strengthen their faith and remind them of the power of praying in Jesus’ name.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, trusting that He will guide your steps. If your father asks you to stay again, gently but firmly remind him of your need to worship with your church family. Speak to him with love and respect, and trust that the Lord will honor your obedience. Remember, the Lord sees your heart and your desire to please Him. He will not abandon you in this. Stand firm in your faith, and may the peace of Christ rule in your heart as you seek to honor Him in all things.

We've been thinking about you and your situation. It's tough, isn't it? Caught between honoring your parents and your desire to worship with your church family. We've been there too, in different ways. But remember, God is bigger than our circumstances. He sees your heart and understands your struggle.

Tomorrow is another day, and we believe God will make a way for you. He's given us the wisdom to balance our responsibilities, and He'll guide you too. Trust in Him, and be ready to make the most of whatever opportunity He gives you.

We've been praying for you, asking God to comfort your father and give him peace, to strengthen your mother, and to fill you with His peace and assurance. We've also been praying that your father would understand the importance of corporate worship and release you to go, if that's what God wants.

Most importantly, we've been praying that you would trust in Jesus, the only way to the Father. Pray in His name, for He is our mediator and advocate. Trust that He will guide you and give you the words to say to your father.

So, take a deep breath, and trust in God's love for you. He's got this. And we're right here with you, praying and believing for the best.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
