Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your husband in this season of deep hurt and weariness.
We have continued to lift him up before the Lord, asking God to heal his heart from the recurring thoughts of past hurts, to lift the heavy burden of feeling disrespected at work, and to give him rest from the constant toiling and overtime. We have prayed that even when he asks for a simple timeout or takes leave to rest, the Lord would truly restore him and not allow his rest to be stolen by exhaustion. We know he has been at the point of breaking, and we have asked God to pour out His love upon him, to speak to him clearly, to give him divine strength and to show him miracles along the way in his workplace.
We pray that the Lord will heal his broken heart as promised in Psalm 147:3, that He will give power to the faint as promised in Isaiah 40:29, and that He will give your husband rest as Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28 to come to Him when we are weary and burdened. We surrender your husband anew to the Lord and ask for Gods peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
If your request was answered and you have seen God bring healing, peace, or a change in his work situation, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and he is still struggling with hurt, exhaustion and the feeling of being disrespected, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you and contending for him.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We continue to pray that God will strengthen you as you support your husband, and that He will heal your husband and draw him close. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
