Pray over the hurts and pain for ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord, you know what my husband is going through. Recurring thoughts of past hurts and continual feeling of being disrepected by people at work. The constant toiling and even when he prayed or just ask for a simple timeout he had to do over time. Took leave to rest or have some fun...ended up half day gone to sleeping due to the previous day of hardwork. God your child is a the point of breaking up. I pray you help him give him your divine strength and miracle along the way to help him with his work...speak to him...pour your love. God I surrender him to you may you heal his heart and speak to him in Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in lifting up your husband before the Lord and we thank you for surrendering him so faithfully into God's hands. We hear the weariness in your request, the weight of past hurts that keep returning, the sting of feeling disrespected at work, and the exhaustion of constant toiling even when rest was sought and needed. The Lord sees all of this and He has not overlooked your husband's labor or his pain.

The Word reminds us that God is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. When his heart is overwhelmed, God invites him to come to the rock that is higher than he is, as in Psalm 61:2, and to cast all his worries on Him because He cares for him, as in 1 Peter 5:7. Jesus Himself says in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29.

We understand how recurring thoughts of past hurts can keep a heart in bondage. God desires to heal that place and to renew the mind. Romans 12:2 tells us not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. That renewing comes as we bring those hurts to Christ, choose to forgive as we have been forgiven, and let bitterness be put away. Ephesians 4:31-32 says Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. This does not mean the pain was not real, but it means we release it to the One who judges justly and heals completely.

We also hear how hard he is working and how even his time off was consumed by exhaustion. The Lord honors diligent work, and Colossians 3:23 reminds us Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, but He also ordained rest and He gives strength to the weary. Isaiah 40:29 says He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. And Philippians 4:6-7 calls us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. His value is not determined by how he is treated at work, but by being a beloved child of God, created and redeemed in Christ.

We pray together now for him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear husband and this marriage to You. You know every hurt he carries, every thought that replays, every moment he has felt disrespected or overlooked, and every hour of toil and overtime that has left him depleted. We ask You to pour out Your divine strength upon him and to be his miracle along the way. Heal his heart, Lord, and speak tenderly to him. Quiet the recurring thoughts with Your truth and guard his heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help him to cast every burden on You and to find rest for his soul in Christ. Renew his mind, restore his joy, and remind him that his labor is seen by You and that his identity is secure in You. Give him wisdom for his workplace, favor where there has been disrespect, and provision for true rest and refreshment. Strengthen this wife as she stands beside him, and strengthen their marriage as they seek You together. Lead him to the rock that is higher than he is when he feels at the point of breaking, and let Your love uphold him. We surrender him anew to You and trust You to complete the healing You have begun. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you both to continue to bring these burdens to the Lord daily, to take thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ, and to seek godly counsel and fellowship for encouragement. Even small steps of rest, prayer together as husband and wife, and speaking Scripture over his day can invite God's healing presence. We stand with you believing that God who sees in secret will restore strength, bring peace to his heart, and speak clearly of His unfailing love.

We are praying for you both as you carry this. It is so hard to watch your husband work so faithfully and still feel disrespected at work, to see past hurts replay in his mind, and to see even his time off swallowed up by exhaustion from the day before. When you said he is at the point of breaking, we heard how heavy this has become for him and for you as you love and intercede for him.

What you describe is the weight of prolonged pressure without real recovery. When hard work and overtime continue with little chance to rest, and when the heart is also holding old wounds, the body and spirit get worn down. Sleep becomes catch up instead of restoration, and it is harder to hear encouragement or even to feel God's nearness. Your prayer of surrender is a tender and right place to bring him.

It may help in the days ahead to gently protect any small pockets of true rest together, and to encourage him to talk openly with one trusted person, whether a pastor or counselor, who can listen without needing him to perform. If the exhaustion, sleeplessness, or sense of being overwhelmed continues, we encourage you to have him see a doctor or counselor as well, alongside prayer, so he has support for both body and heart.

Father, we lift this husband to You. You see his work, his tiredness, and the hurts he revisits. Pour Your love over him, quiet the thoughts that accuse him, and speak to his heart in a way he can hear. Give him strength for each day, wisdom for his workplace, and healing where he has been wounded. Hold this marriage in Your care and give his wife peace as she supports him. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing your husband before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to look upon him in his weariness and pain.

The Lord knows what it is to carry recurring thoughts of past hurts and the sting of feeling disrespected, and He knows the heaviness of constant toiling when even a prayer for a little rest seems unanswered and leave itself is swallowed up in exhaustion. To be at the point of breaking is to be in the very place where Christ delights to show Himself as Healer. Scripture says, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and we are told that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, which teaches us that even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in great and notable mercies but in His gentlest touches upon the spirits of His people, to change the life blood and make the nature new.

We pray that the Lord will grant to your husband pardon and healing together, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises it brings healing in His wings, and when Christ forgives He also restores. May the Lord speak to him in that still small voice which a husband uses to commune lovingly with his own, may He pour His love into his heart and lift the burden of past injuries, may He give divine strength for each day of labour and wisdom and favour in the place where he works. We ask that God would provide true rest for his body and soul, not merely sleep to recover from hard work, but the rest that Christ gives to those who come unto Him when they are weary and heavy laden.

We surrender him with you into the hands of our heavenly Physician, whose work is not to wound with the knife but to apply the healing balm of Calvary. May the Lord keep your marriage and knit your hearts together in His love, as He who has joined you together will also sustain you. May He guard your husband from despair, renew his mind, and let him hear the Saviour say, Return, and find joy in being sought and restored.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, we ask You to heal his heart, to strengthen his hands for his work, to open a way for relief and even a miracle of Your providence, and to let him feel Your presence and Your love in these difficult days. Let Christ be his rest and his healing, and let your peace keep you both as you trust Him. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your heartfelt prayer for your husband has been heard, and I join you in lifting him up before the Lord who sees his weariness and knows the weight he carries.

It is painful to watch one you love toil without rest, to feel disrespected by those around him at work, to have even his prayers for a little time to breathe answered with more overtime, and to see his leave for rest turn into sleep from sheer exhaustion. The Lord does not overlook this struggle. He sees the recurring thoughts of past hurts that return to trouble his mind, and He hears your surrender of your husband into His hands.

I pray with you that God will pour His love upon your husband and speak to his heart in a way he can clearly hear. May the Lord heal the wounds of the past that still ache, quiet the thoughts that accuse and weary him, and lift the sense of being disrespected that weighs on him. Where he feels at the point of breaking, may God be his strength. Scripture promises that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength, and that He gives power to the faint and increases strength to those who have no might. May God grant him that divine strength day by day for the work before him, and open a way for true rest and refreshment.

I pray also that God will give him favor and peace in his workplace, that he would know his labor is seen by the Lord even when it feels unseen by people, and that God would provide moments of relief and even miracles of provision and help along the way. May the Lord teach him to cast all his cares upon Him, for He cares for him, and to come to Christ who invites all who are weary and heavy laden to find rest for their souls.

Thank you for standing faithfully beside your husband in love and prayer. Continue to encourage him with gentleness and quiet strength, to create a home that is a place of peace and restoration, and to remind him that his worth is not measured by what others at work think of him but by the love of God who calls him His child. Encourage him to bring his hurts honestly to the Lord in prayer, to seek rest when possible, and to share his burdens with trusted brothers in Christ who can walk with him.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I place this husband before Your throne. You know his toil, his sleeplessness, his hurts and his need for respect and rest. Heal his heart, renew his mind, strengthen his body and spirit, and speak Your love over him. Surround this marriage with Your grace and keep this family in Your peace. Let him hear Your voice and know he is not alone, and let Your will be done in his work and in his life. Amen.
