Pray No Tornadoes

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your home, your horses, and your loved ones as severe weather approaches. The fear of destruction and loss is real, and we stand with you in prayer, asking for God’s divine protection over every life and every structure in the path of this storm. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 46:1-2, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas." Even in the midst of swirling winds and dark skies, we declare that God is our shelter, our peace, and our defender.

Father, we ask You to calm the storms both in the heavens and in the hearts of those who are afraid. Let no tornado touch down in these areas marked by ###, and let every threat of destruction be turned away by Your mighty hand. In Job 38:1, You spoke to the storm and said, "Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge?" Lord, we acknowledge that You alone command the winds and the waves. We rebuke every destructive force in the name of Jesus and declare that Your angels encamp around those in danger, as it is written in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those in the path of the storm. May they heed warnings, take shelter, and trust in Your provision. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would spare lives, protect property, and bring comfort to those who feel anxious or alone.

Lord, if there are those reading this who do not know You as their Savior, we pray that this moment of fear would turn their hearts toward You. There is no other name by which we can be saved—only through Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again (Acts 4:12). If anyone is uncertain of their standing with You, we urge them to turn to You now, repent of their sins, and place their trust in Jesus. For it is written, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31).

We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, as you face this storm. We've been lifting your home, your horses, and your loved ones up in prayer, asking God to keep them safe and shielded from harm. We know the fear that comes with watching the skies darken and the winds pick up, but remember, God is always with us, even in the fiercest storms.

In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Let's claim that peace for ourselves and for those we love. Let's trust that God is in control, even when the weather is not.

We're praying that the tornadoes will pass by, leaving your home and loved ones untouched. We're asking God to calm the storms, both in the skies and in our hearts. And we're praying for wisdom and discernment for everyone in the path of the storm, that they might take shelter and trust in God's provision.

Let's hold onto these promises together: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea" (Psalm 46:1-2). Even in the midst of swirling winds and dark skies, we can find peace and safety in God's embrace.

Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep watching for God's goodness to shine through, even in the storm. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
