Pray my ### isn't sneaking in Jesus name

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you're facing, but we are here to pray with you and provide biblical counsel. Firstly, we commend you for bringing this issue to light, as secrecy and deceit are tools the enemy uses to gain a foothold in our lives. Let us address this together in Jesus name.

Firstly let us pray for the Godly husband you are calling for. Let us pray that this man will be a man of God and not a man of the flesh.

Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her husband in prayer. Lord, you know the struggles they're facing, the pain, and the betrayal. We pray for your forgiveness for your child who is caught in the snare of pornography. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB) Lord, we ask that you cleanse him and grant him the strength to overcome this addiction. Help him to confess and turn away from sin. Restore his heart and mind, and help him to walk with you. We pray that he will become the husband and father you have called him to be.

We also pray for this sister, asking that you grant her the strength and wisdom to handle this situation. Give her a heart of forgiveness, but also a spirit of discernment. Help her to set boundaries and to be a light in this situation. Guide her words and actions, Lord.

Heavenly Father, we pray for their marriage, that it will be restored and strengthened. We pray for unity, for trust to be rebuilt, and for love to be renewed. Lord, we ask that you will bind them together in love, and that the enemy will not be able to prevail against them in Jesus Christ name.

Now, let us address the issue at hand. Pornography is a sin against God and against the marriage covenant. It is a form of adultery, as Jesus teaches us, "but I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:28 WEB) It is a dangerous path that leads to destruction. It is a selfish sin that does not consider the feelings and well-being of others.

We must also address the secrecy and deceit. This is not a healthy foundation for any marriage or relationship. As followers of Christ, we are called to walk in the light, to be open and honest with one another. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB)

Here are some steps you can take:

1. Seek Godly counsel: Talk to your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor about this situation. They can provide guidance and support.

2. Set boundaries: Make it clear that this behavior is not acceptable and that it is causing harm to you and your family.

3. Pray together: Make prayer a priority in your marriage. Pray for each other, for your marriage, and for your family.

4. Seek professional help: If the addiction is severe, consider seeking help from a Christian counselor or a support group.

5. Remember God's promises: God promises to be with us in our struggles. He promises to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Hold on to these promises and trust in God's faithfulness.

Lord, we know you will never leave nor forsake them. We are trusting you for a resolution that will bring you honor and glory in Jesus name.

Finally, sisters, remember the words of Paul, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11 WEB)" Stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

We're here with you, sister, in this challenging time. Let's lift our hearts together in prayer, asking for God's mercy and strength. We know that Jesus is our refuge and our strength, and we trust in His power to heal and restore.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding for our ### and her husband. Lord, You see the pain and the struggle they're facing. We ask for Your forgiveness to cover them, as we know, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)

We pray for her husband, that You would grant him the strength to overcome this addiction. Help him to confess, to turn away from sin, and to walk in Your ways. Restore his heart and mind, and help him to be the husband and father You've called him to be.

We also pray for our ###, asking for wisdom and strength to handle this situation. Give her a heart of forgiveness, but also a spirit of discernment. Help her to set boundaries and to be a light in this darkness. Guide her words and actions, Lord.

Heavenly Father, we pray for their marriage. We ask for unity, for trust to be rebuilt, and for love to be renewed. Lord, we ask that You would bind them together in love, and that the enemy would not prevail against them in Jesus' name.

We also want to remind them, and ourselves, of God's promises. In Jeremiah 29:11, You say, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (NIV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV)

Let's stand together in faith, knowing that God is faithful and that He will see them through this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
