O Father,
Elijah gives us the lesson on how to pray an effective prayer. His prayers began in desperation. Desperation is often born out of a burden. And Father, you know our burden for our finances. The creditors call all the time, we may lose the house in Wisconsin, and the job market is closed tight for me.
If fervent prayer is like childbirth then this need has been conceived in me and now the childbirth should be soon. For years, we have given Satan a toe-hold by not trusting in Your provision but being deceived to live like the rest of the world. We have been given forgiveness by You for our actions and now we claim that we are unable to fit our mess. We are ready for the delivery of the supernatural abundance that will have everyone knowing it came from You! We believe we are finding Your will and we now pray in agreement with You. As David declared in Psalm 65:11 “You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.†This is the year of bounty and that is what we expect and pray for.
You know that we know that we do not have the resources to do the things that needs to be done. We have many ideas for the ministry to Your people, but without Your divine intervention, it is nothing but ideas. We pray in agreement with Your prayer warriors for this to be done as You have said and for the glory of Your name. Amen and amen.
