The Beloved of God
Humble Servant of All
Dear God,
Forgive me for not having more faith in your power. Let me claim and stand solidly on the fact that I will look toward you. You have heard my prayer and you will provide the answer. You are mighty and want to help me. I trust you for the results and I pray with faith and with an attitude that says “both me and God fully expect His will to be done in my situation and the breakthrough is now.†It will be done so that all who see will know of your mighty works and grace.
Jesus used the persistent widow to show me that I am a gazillion times better off because I have God. I do not need to depend on my own effort because we can trust in the grace of a good God who knows what we need even before we ask him. My spirit testifies to strength of the Holy Spirit and even though the breakthrough remains unseen, my trust is in the goodness of a good God! You will not forsake me.
Jesus wants me to have a revelation of our loving Father in my prayer life and to have faith in a good and gracious God who cares for and helps me in my weakness. There is no faith in my efforts but complete trust that we will receive the grace of God. Therefore, I am trusting in God and I am confident of a miracle as that’s how big God is. Like David said in Psalm 103, I call to mind his many blessings: God forgives us. God heals us. God redeems us, crowns us and satisfies us with good things. He is compassionate and gracious; slow to anger and abounding in love. We pray in agreement. Amen and amen.
