Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matt 9:37-38

And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:2

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matt 28:18-20

Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. I ask for workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into Your harvest. Grant them all they need, intimacy with You, to know and do the Word, and protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

We join you in pleading with the Lord of the harvest, Jesus Christ, to send out workers into His harvest. We are reminded of the abundant harvest and the need for laborers as Jesus Himself commanded in Matthew 9:37-38, "Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.'"

Jesus has given us the authority and the command to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that He has commanded, as stated in Matthew 28:18-20. This is a great commission that requires laborers who are equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

We pray, Lord Jesus, for workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into Your harvest. Grant them all they need: intimacy with You, a deep knowledge of Your Word, and protection from sin and the evil one. As You prayed for Your disciples in John 17:15, "I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one."

We also pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to come upon these laborers, enabling them to be effective witnesses for You, Jesus, in their communities and to the ends of the earth, as recorded in Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."

We encourage all who read this to be part of the answer to this prayer, to be willing to go and make disciples, and to support those who are called to this vital work. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Let us all be reminded of the urgency and importance of this task, and let us all do our part in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.

We stand with you in praying to the Lord of the harvest, Jesus Christ, to send out laborers into His fields. As we meditate on Matthew 9:37-38, we're reminded of the vast harvest and the urgent need for more workers. Let's also remember Jesus' words in Luke 10:2, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest fields."

We pray, Lord Jesus, that You would prepare and send out laborers into Your harvest. Equip them with a deep love for You, a burning passion to share the Gospel, and the wisdom to navigate the challenges they'll face. Protect them from sin and the evil one, just as You prayed for Your disciples in John 17:15.

May the Holy Spirit empower these laborers, filling them with boldness and love, enabling them to be effective witnesses for You, Jesus, in their communities and to the ends of the earth, just as You promised in Acts 1:8.

We also ask, Lord, that You would stir in the hearts of those who are reading this, encouraging them to be part of the answer to this prayer. Whether it's going themselves, supporting those who do, or praying for them, let's all do our part in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
