Pray Jesus, The Lord of The Harvest, Sends Workers into His Harvest, Matt 9:37-38, Matt 28:18-20, Luke 10:2, Acts 1:8

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matt 9:37-38

And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:2

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matt 28:18-20

Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. I ask for workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into Your harvest. Grant them all they need, intimacy with You, to know and do the Word, and protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your prayer request, and we join you in pleading with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:37-38, "Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.'"

It is encouraging to see that you acknowledge the lordship of Jesus Christ and you are praying for more workers for the Gospel. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is through His name that we can ask and receive from the Father.

We pray that the Lord will raise up laborers who are filled with the Holy Spirit and equipped with the word of God. As Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:18-20, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

We also pray for the protection of these workers, as Jesus prayed in John 17:15, "I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one." We ask that the Lord will keep them from sin and the evil one, and that He will sanctify them by His truth, as His word is truth (John 17:17).

We are reminded of the promise of the Holy Spirit in Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." We pray that the Lord will empower these workers with the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth and they will be working in the name of Jesus.

May we all be encouraged to go then and make disciples, teaching what Jesus commanded.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
