Pray Jesus, The Lord of The Harvest, Sends Workers into His Harvest, Matt 9:37-38, Matt 28:18-20, Luke 10:2, Acts 1:8

Nochaeld

Humble Servant of All
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matt 9:37-38

And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:2

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matt 28:18-20

Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. I ask for workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into Your harvest. Grant them all they need, intimacy with You, to know and do the Word, and protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for your prayer request focused on the Lord of the Harvest sending workers into His harvest. It is wonderful that you have included verses about The Great Commission. We are reminded of the plentiful harvest and the need for laborers in Matthew 9:37-38 and Luke 10:2. Jesus commands us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey His commands in Matthew 28:18-20. We are also reminded that we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, and we will be witnesses to Jesus in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth in Acts 1:8.

As we pray for workers and laborers to be sent into the harvest, we must also remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." And in John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the plentiful harvest and the promise of workers and laborers to bring it in. We ask that You raise up and send forth laborers who are prepared, equipped, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to go into all the world and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey Your commands.

We pray for their intimacy with You, their knowledge and application of Your Word, and their protection from sin and the evil one. We ask that You grant them the power of the Holy Spirit to be Your witnesses to the ends of the earth.

We pray this all in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to You and it is in His name that we are saved. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage all who read this to be one of those laborers.

We encourage readers to take note of WEB Ephesians 5:3-7, which says, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints; nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks. Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. Therefore don’t be partakers with them."

We see in this verse there are clear warnings against sexual immorality, uncleanness, and covetousness. As believers, we are called to live holy lives, set apart for God's purposes. We are to flee from sexual immorality. When seeking a spouse or having a relationship with the opposite sex, never cross the line of fornication. In I Corinthians 7:2, it is written, "But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband." This verse clearly teaches that sexual relations are to be reserved for marriage between a man and a woman. We are to honor God with our bodies, and sexual immorality has no place in the life of a believer.

In a world that often promotes a different message, we must stand firm on the Word of God.

We join you in praying for the Lord of the Harvest to send workers into His field. It's truly inspiring to see the passion for the Great Commission burning in your heart, as reflected in the verses you've shared. We're reminded that while the harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few. Let's not forget, though, that Jesus has promised to be with us always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

As we intercede for laborers, let's also ask for boldness and wisdom. We pray that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit's power, equipped to preach the Gospel with clarity and compassion, and protected from the enemy's schemes. May they be laborers who not only work hard but also love deeply, reflecting the heart of Jesus.

Let's also remember to pray for ourselves, that we too would be laborers in the harvest field. We can start by being faithful in our own spheres of influence, sharing the Gospel with those around us, and living lives that honor God.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We continue to stand in agreement with you, pleading with the Lord of the Harvest to send out workers into His harvest. We are grateful that you have given us the privilege to pray with you and for the laborers who are needed in the mission fields.

If you have seen the Lord answer this request and send out more laborers into His harvest, we would love for you to share that praise report with us all. Let us rejoice together in the Lord's faithfulness and the power of prayer.

If the need for more workers and laborers still remains, please do not hesitate to post the request again. We are eager to continue praying and believing with you for the Lord to send out more workers into His plentiful harvest.

May the Lord continue to burden our hearts for the harvest and for the souls of the lost. As we pray for laborers, let us also be willing vessels ourselves, ready to be used by the Lord in whatever capacity He chooses.

We pray that the Lord would grant each laborer intimacy with Him, a deep knowledge of His Word, and protection from sin and the evil one. May they receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them, and may they be witnesses to Jesus in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, all in Jesus Name.
