pray God brings ### home to me

Servant of All
I haven't seen my son in over 11 years, please pray in Jesus name that God brings my son home to me again. Would like to see him before I die

Our hearts ache with you as we lift your deep longing to the Lord, knowing how precious the bond between a parent and child is in His sight. The pain of separation from your son for over eleven years is a burden no parent should have to bear, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God hears your cry and sees your tears. The Scriptures remind us of the Father’s heart for reconciliation and restoration, and we cling to His promises as we intercede for you and your son.

The Lord Jesus told the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32, where a father waited patiently, with hope and love, for his son to return. When the son finally came home, the father ran to meet him, embraced him, and celebrated his return. This parable reflects God’s heart for reconciliation—not only between us and Him but also within families. We pray that your son, like the prodigal, would be drawn by the Holy Spirit to return to you, and that your reunion would be filled with the same joy and restoration that only God can provide.

We also remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11-13, where the Lord declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."* We pray that your son would seek the Lord with all his heart, and that in doing so, he would be led back to you. May God soften his heart and remove any obstacles—whether pride, bitterness, fear, or the influence of others—that have kept him away.

At the same time, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty. Psalm 37:4-5 tells us, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* While you wait, we pray that the Lord would fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7), and that He would strengthen you with the assurance that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Your desire to see your son again is a godly one, and we believe the Lord honors it.

We also want to gently remind you that your hope is not ultimately in seeing your son before you die, but in the eternal hope found in Christ Jesus. If you have placed your faith in Him, you have the promise of everlasting life, where there will be no more separation, no more tears, and no more pain (Revelation 21:4). Whether your reunion with your son happens in this life or in the life to come, you can trust that God’s plans are perfect. Still, we join you in praying earnestly for restoration here on earth, that your joy may be full and that God would be glorified through your testimony of faith and perseverance.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this precious parent who longs to see their son again. Lord, You are the God of restoration, the One who heals broken relationships and brings hope to the hopeless. We ask You, in the mighty name of Jesus, to work in the heart of this son. Soften his heart, Lord, and draw him to Yourself. Let him know the depth of Your love and the peace that comes from surrendering to Your will. Father, if there is any sin, bitterness, or rebellion in his heart, convict him by Your Holy Spirit and lead him to repentance. Break every chain that has kept him away—whether it be pride, fear, deception, or the influence of others—and bring him home, just as the prodigal son returned to his father.

Lord, we pray for divine connections and opportunities that would pave the way for reconciliation. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your favor rest upon this situation. Give this parent wisdom and patience as they wait on You, and fill them with Your peace that guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working even when they cannot see it.

We also pray for protection over this son. If he is walking in ways that are not pleasing to You, convict him and turn his steps toward righteousness. Surround him with godly influences and lead him to a place where he can hear Your voice clearly. Lord, if he does not know You, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he may come to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Let this season of separation be used for Your glory, drawing both parent and child closer to You.

Father, we ask that You would grant this parent the desire of their heart—to see their son again in this life. Let their reunion be a testament to Your faithfulness and love. But even as we pray this, we surrender to Your perfect will, trusting that You know what is best. Whether the answer comes soon or in Your perfect timing, we ask that You would be glorified and that both parent and child would draw nearer to You through this journey.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your love, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God is at work. Keep trusting in Him, and may He fill you with His peace as you wait. If there is anything in your life that needs surrendering to the Lord—any unforgiveness, fear, or doubt—we encourage you to lay it at His feet. He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Stay encouraged, and may the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him.

We're right there with you, dear friend, echoing your heart's deepest longing. We've been where you are now, feeling the ache of separation from a loved one. It's a pain that's hard to bear, but we find comfort in knowing that God sees and feels it too. He's a Father who understands, who waits patiently, and who desires reconciliation more than anything.

We've been clinging to the story of the prodigal son too, haven't we? It's a beautiful reminder of God's heart for us, His children. The father in that story didn't give up on his son, even when he was far away. He waited, hoping, and when the son finally returned, he ran to meet him with open arms. That's the God we serve, the God we pray to for you and your son.

We've also been meditating on Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." We pray that your son would seek the Lord with all his heart, that he would be drawn back to you, and that your reunion would be filled with the joy and peace that only God can give.

While we wait, we pray for God's peace to fill you, for His strength to sustain you, and for His wisdom to guide you. We believe that God is working in this situation, even if we can't see it yet. And we trust that His plans are perfect, even if they don't align with our timeline.

We're here for you, dear friend, praying with you, believing with you, and hoping with you. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, knowing that He is faithful and that He will complete the good work He has started in you. Stay encouraged, and may the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Heavenly Father lead this love one home and soften hearts if needed in this situation. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We have been lifting your heartfelt request before the Lord these past days, standing with you in faith as you long for the restoration of your relationship with your son. The ache of a mother’s heart separated from her child is one of the deepest sorrows, and we know God sees your tears and hears your cries. His Word promises that He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We have been praying earnestly that the Lord would soften hearts, remove obstacles, and open doors for reconciliation—whether through a miraculous reunion or the peace of knowing your son is walking in God’s will.

If the Lord has begun to move in this situation, we would love to rejoice with you. Even the smallest step forward—a phone call, a letter, or a sense of God’s comfort—is worth celebrating as evidence of His faithfulness. Please share a praise report so we can give Him glory together.

If you are still waiting, we want you to know we remain steadfast with you in prayer. The journey of waiting is long, but we serve a God who redeems time and restores what was lost. Do not hesitate to post an update or renew your request; we are here to continue interceding alongside you, trusting that God’s timing is perfect and His love for you and your son is unwavering.

May the Lord fill you with His supernatural hope and strength as you cling to Him. We are praying for you to feel His presence in a tangible way, reminding you that you are not forgotten—by Him or by us. Keep seeking His face, dear sister, and trust that He is working even in the silence. In Jesus Name.
