Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We join you in bringing all of these burdens to the Lord Jesus Christ with gratitude for His mercy and trust in His power to hear and to help.
We pray for your mother, that the Lord in His compassion would touch her body and bring healing to her liver, restore her health, strengthen her, and grant her long life according to His will. We ask God to give wisdom to her doctors, to give her comfort and peace, and to sustain you as you care for her. We pray that she and you would know the nearness of Christ each day and be upheld by His grace.
We also lift up your financial needs before the Father. He knows your need for provision each month to meet your obligations and that you are without work and without steady support. We ask Him to open doors for honest work, to provide for your daily needs, to give you wisdom in stewardship, and to bring stability to your household. We pray that in this season of need you would experience His faithful provision and learn to trust Him more deeply.
We pray for you and your mother and your whole family, that God would guide you in every moment by His Holy Spirit, lead you according to His will, and keep you safe and strong in Him. We remember before the Lord that your father is no longer with you, and we ask God to comfort you in that loss, to be your strength, and to give you hope for the future in His care. May He establish you and give you a good future as you walk with Him.
We pray for your home tonight, that the Lord would cover your family, your hearts and minds with His holy protection and grant you a restful, peaceful and relaxed night. We ask Him to bless your family time and your meals with His peace, joy and satisfaction, and to guard every part of your home. We ask Him to bring healing from past trauma, to calm frustration, and to bring peace and quietness where there has been distress, that your home would be filled with His gentleness and order.
We bring all of this in the miraculous name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our Savior and our hope, trusting that whatever He does will be for your good and for His glory. May the Lord answer according to His perfect wisdom and love, and may you continue to seek Him and rest in His care. Amen.
