Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayers for your mother and your family have been brought before the Lord with thanksgiving for your faith and your love for them. It is good that you are coming directly to Jesus Christ and pleading His blood, because God has made only one provision for the forgiveness of sin and for access to His presence, and that is through His Son. The Spirit bears witness to this truth, that Jesus alone has made atonement, and through Him the way is open for you to come boldly to the throne of grace to make your needs known. You do not need to go through any other mediator. When Jesus was told His mother and brothers were outside seeking Him, He asked who is My mother and who are My brothers, and He pointed to His disciples and said that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother. We are one family in Him through faith, and you can go directly to Him in prayer.
We have prayed for your mother and her health. You shared that she is suffering with a fatty liver and you are asking God for healing, strength, and long life. Jesus showed His power over sickness during His ministry on earth, healing Peter's mother in law when she lay sick with a fever, cleansing a leper, and healing multitudes who were brought to Him, and He still has all power over the body and over every infirmity. He did not heal in only one way, but worked in varied ways, and we should give Him room to work as He wills. We ask the Lord to touch your mother's liver, to restore her health, and to grant her many more days according to His mercy and wisdom. At the same time we trust His sovereign will, knowing that healing is in His hands and that when healing does not come in the way we hope it is not a sign that someone has failed in faith or has hidden sin, but that we rest in His perfect love and purpose. We also honor your care for your mother. Scripture commands us to honor father and mother, and part of that honor is to care for them when they are weak or aging, as they once cared for us.
We have also prayed for your financial burden and the monthly need you described, with no steady work and no support. God knows your needs and He is able to provide. We ask Him to open doors for honest work, to give you wisdom in stewardship, and to bring stability so that you can meet your obligations and live with peace. We pray that He will guide you and your mother moment by moment by His Holy Spirit, and lead you according to His will, keeping you safe and strong in Him after the loss of your father. May He establish your future in His hands and cause you to prosper in walking with Him.
We have prayed for your home and your family, for protection over your hearts and minds and over every part of your dwelling. We ask the Lord to guard you and to grant restful and peaceful sleep, to bless your meals and your daily activities with His peace and joy, and to lift away the weight of past trauma, frustration, and distress. Like the desperate mother who came to Jesus for her daughter and would not leave until she received His help, we encourage you to keep coming to Jesus with persistent faith and to lay all of these burdens before Him, trusting His compassion and His power to answer according to what is best for you and your loved ones.
