We join you before the throne of grace as the night falls with gratitude and urgency, pleading the precious blood of Jesus Christ over you, your dear mother, your children and your whole household. We hear the weight you are carrying, the concern for your mother's health, the financial burden, the grief of missing your father, and the longing for peace and protection in your home, and we bring each of these before our Heavenly Father together.
We lift up your mother who is suffering with fatty liver disease. We know how heavy it is to watch one you love be unwell, and we ask the Lord who is our healer to touch her body. We pray that God would restore her liver to health, strengthen her, and grant her good health and long life according to His will. We remember the promise in Psalm 103:2-3 that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases, and in Jeremiah 30:17 that He will restore health and heal wounds, and in Psalm 91:16 that with long life He will satisfy us and show us His salvation. We also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care and to follow the guidance given for liver health, trusting that God often works through the hands of physicians and through stewardship of the body He has given, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
We bring before the Lord your financial need and the burden of monthly credits to pay while without work and without steady support. Our hearts ache with you in this uncertainty, and we ask God to open doors for provision and for honest work. We pray that He would provide for every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:19, and that He would guide you to opportunities, give you favor, wisdom and diligence as you seek employment. We remember the words of Matthew 6:33 to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well, and Psalm 37:25 that we have not seen the righteous forsaken nor their children begging for bread. We encourage you to be faithful in small things, to be diligent and to seek counsel for managing debts, for Proverbs 21:5 teaches that the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit, and Romans 13:8 reminds us to owe no one anything except to love one another, so we pray for wisdom to become financially stable and free from the weight of debt.
We also join you in praying for guidance and for the help of the Holy Spirit for you and your mother each moment. We ask that the Lord would lead you according to His will, for Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, and in all our ways acknowledge Him and He will make our paths straight. Jesus promised in John 14:26 that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things and remind us of all He has said, and in Romans 8:26 that the Spirit helps us in our weakness when we do not know how to pray.
We remember your father who is now in heaven and the ache of his absence for you, your mother and the family. We pray that God would strengthen and keep you safe and strong in Him, for He is a Father of the fatherless and a defender of widows in His holy habitation in Psalm 68:5, and He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. May His grace be sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness as we read in 2 Corinthians 12:9, and may He give you hope for a good future in His arms as you prosper in Him.
We cover your family, your home, your hearts and your minds with prayer for holy protection. We ask that the Lord would station His angels around your dwelling, around every door and window, every room and corner, and keep you from all evil as promised in Psalm 91:11 that He will give His angels charge over you to guard you in all your ways, and in Psalm 121:7-8 that the Lord will keep you from all evil and will keep your going out and your coming in. We pray for a restful, peaceful and relaxed night, for blessing upon your meals and activities with His peace, joy and satisfaction. We bring before Him the past trauma memories, the frustration, the screaming, jumping and vocal stimming that have caused distress in your family life, and we ask the Lord to take these burdens and replace them with His calm. We claim Philippians 4:6-7 that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus. May Isaiah 41:10 be your comfort tonight, that you should not fear for He is with you, not be dismayed for He is your God, He will strengthen you, He will help you, He will uphold you with His righteous right hand.
So together we pray, Father Lord in the miraculous name of Jesus Christ, we thank You for Your mercy and Your nearness as night falls. We lift this dear mother to You, touch her liver, restore her health, give her strength and grant her length of days in Your will. We lift this family before You, provide for their financial needs, open doors for work and stable provision, deliver them from debt and teach them to steward what You provide. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this mother and child, guide them each moment and lead them according to Your perfect will. Comfort them in the loss of their father, be their strength, keep them safe and strong, and give them a hopeful future in Your arms. Cover their home with Your protection, let Your peace rule in every heart and mind, remove trauma and unrest, and grant a quiet, restful night filled with Your presence. We ask all this trusting in the precious blood and mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
