Lord I ask that You bless ### with great success in all that he does and I ask that You bless his parents with patience and the ability to guide and support him always. In Jesus Name I pray.

The bible says to spare the rod and spoil the child.

Lord I pray for this child that you would take away the stubbornness from him. Bless the parents and give them the patience to teach him the ways of the Lord. Send good teachers that they may be able to teach him or to diagnose what the problem is that is preventing him from having the ability to read.
