Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been lifting up before the Lord the man you mentioned and asking for the deep transformation of his heart that only God can bring. We have prayed that he will humble himself to accept correction from God and turn from his old ways, that he will truly seek the Lord and desire to know Him more, and that his heart will become like the heart of Jesus, kind and gentle. We have prayed as you requested that the enemy will have no authority over him and that he will be released from the grips of the enemy, that the Holy Spirit will fill him and that Christ will increase in him as he decreases, and that the narcissistic behaviors that only Christ can break will be broken. We continue to claim Ezek 36:26 over him, that God will give him a new heart and put a new spirit within him.
We have also prayed for you in this season as you have willingly given him another chance. We have asked God to protect you, to guard your heart and mind, to hold you up and to guide you in this relationship with wisdom and discernment. We have prayed that He will empower you to speak truth when you need to speak and to remain silent when He wants you to be still, and that you will be able to rest and not take control of situations that only God can correct. We have prayed that the old patterns that were reopened when you tried to take control will now be closed off in the name of Jesus and that his eyes will be opened to the life of Christ, and that you will remain guarded and strengthened, for you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you as promised in Phil 4:13.
