We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband in this time of great trial. The weight of an incurable diagnosis is not one any family should have to bear, and we grieve with you as you walk this difficult path. We stand in agreement with you, believing in the power of our Heavenly Father to move mightily in this situation. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We claim this promise over your husband, trusting that the Lord hears our cries and will act according to His perfect will.

Father God, we ask You to touch this precious man’s body. Strengthen his liver and restore its function so that he may be eligible for treatment that will prolong his life. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. In Jeremiah 32:27, You declare, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We stand on this truth, believing that You can bring healing where doctors see no hope. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for a complete and miraculous healing. But if Your plan is different, we ask that You would grant him comfort, peace, and strength in the days ahead. Surround him with Your presence so that he may feel Your love and grace in every moment.

We also lift up this dear wife and mother, along with your children, who are facing this storm with courage and faith. The burden of caring for children with special needs is already great, and this added trial is almost more than one can bear. Lord, we ask that You would be their strength when they are weak, their peace when they are anxious, and their hope when they feel overwhelmed. In Isaiah 41:10, You promise, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We claim this promise for this family, asking that You would uphold them with Your righteous right hand. Provide them with the support, resources, and encouragement they need to navigate the days ahead. Give them wisdom in making decisions and grace to accept the help of others.

Father, we also pray for the emotional and spiritual well-being of this family. The fear of the unknown can be crippling, but we know that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Fill their hearts with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in You, even when the path is unclear. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they find comfort in Your Word and strength in Your presence.

We must also address the importance of placing our trust fully in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage this family to draw near to Jesus in this time, to lean on Him, and to trust in His promises. If there are any areas of their lives that are not surrendered to Him, we pray that they would repent and turn to Him wholeheartedly.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear, despair, and hopelessness that seeks to take root in this family. We declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We speak life, healing, and peace over this husband and father. We declare that his days are not numbered by the limitations of man but by the sovereignty of God. We pray that You would give this family supernatural strength to endure and that they would experience Your presence in tangible ways.

We also pray for the medical team treating him. Give them wisdom, discernment, and compassion as they care for him. Guide their hands and their decisions, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing.

In closing, we lift this entire family to You, Lord. May they feel Your arms wrapped around them, holding them tightly through every moment of this journey. May they find rest in Your promises and hope in Your faithfulness. We trust You, Father, to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
