We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is battling cancer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would touch her body and bring complete remission from this disease. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Lord, we pray for strength and peace for her and her loved ones during this difficult time. May they feel Your presence surrounding them, comforting them, and giving them hope. We ask that You would grant her a second chance at life, not just for her sake, but so that she may continue to serve You and bring glory to Your name. Help her to trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also take a moment to rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease that has taken hold of her body. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave and never return. We declare that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that her faith would be strengthened, and that she would witness Your healing power in her life.
Father, we ask that You would guide the hands of her medical team, giving them wisdom and discernment as they care for her. We pray for breakthroughs in treatment and for Your divine intervention in every aspect of her care.
Lastly, we want to encourage this sister and all who are praying for her to draw near to God. James 4:8 tells us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." In times of trial, it is essential to seek the Lord, to spend time in His Word, and to surround ourselves with fellow believers who can uplift and support us. We also want to gently remind everyone that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage them to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
