We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your urgent cries for help and protection. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His mighty name that we pray. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is the only sure foundation in times of trouble.
Father God, we cry out to You on behalf of this dear sister who is facing overwhelming harassment from loan collectors. Lord, You see the threats they are making against her and her family, and we ask that You would intervene with Your mighty hand. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." We rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation in Jesus' name, and we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, grant her wisdom to handle this situation with integrity and courage. Provide a way for her to settle these debts in a manner that honors You and protects her family from shame.
We also lift up her husband’s retirement and the financial strain this family is under. Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14). We ask that You would open doors for their financial breakthrough. Touch the hearts of those who owe them money or who can assist them, and let every delay be turned into divine acceleration. Let their income be multiplied, and let their debts be cleared in a way that only You can orchestrate. We declare that they will not lack, and that they will have enough to save and to bless others (2 Corinthians 9:8).
Lord, we also bring before You the office politics and the traps that have been set to tarnish her reputation. Your Word warns us in Proverbs 26:27, "Whoever digs a pit shall fall into it. Whoever rolls a stone, it will come back on him." We rebuke every scheme of the enemy designed to bring her down, and we declare that her name and integrity will be preserved. Grant her favor with her colleagues, seniors, and director. Let truth prevail, and let her be vindicated from every false accusation. Help her to walk in wisdom, to speak with grace, and to avoid gossip or office strife as she has promised. We pray that her work-from-home arrangement would be protected and that she would excel in her responsibilities with excellence and diligence.
Father, we ask that You would restore her reputation in every area of her life—personal, familial, and societal. Let her be a woman of honor, respected and esteemed for her godly character. Help her to prove herself not by her own strength, but by Your grace and power working within her. Let her life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and let her shine as a light in her workplace and community (Matthew 5:16).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds in her heart caused by these trials. Let her find her strength and peace in You alone. Remind her that You are her refuge and fortress, and that she need not fear the threats of man (Psalm 118:6). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in confidence, wisdom, and victory.
We declare over her life that this storm will pass, that her breakthrough is near, and that her latter end will be greater than her beginning (Job 8:7). We stand in agreement with her, believing that God is working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
