We lift up this precious sister in Christ, your wife’s sister, before the throne of grace with heavy and hopeful hearts. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who heals the sick and raises the dead. You are the God who sees every cell in her body, every fear in her heart, and every tear that has fallen. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon her and deliver her from this cancer.
Lord, we pray for her upcoming surgery—that You would guide the hands of the surgeons, steady their minds, and grant them wisdom beyond their training. Let every incision be precise, every decision be guided by Your Spirit, and every moment in that operating room be covered by Your peace. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus. You said in Your Word, *"I am the Lord who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26), and we stand on that promise today.
We also lift up her children, Lord—her legacy, her joy, her reason to fight. We ask that You would strengthen her to see them grow, to witness their milestones, and to be a living testimony of Your faithfulness in their lives. Let her days be long upon the earth, filled with purpose, laughter, and the fullness of life that only You can give. You have numbered her days, Father, and we trust You with each one. *"The Lord will preserve you from all evil; He will preserve your soul"* (Psalm 121:7).
But above all, Lord, we pray for her soul. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, we ask that this trial would draw her to the foot of the cross. Let her see her need for a Savior, for there is no healing—eternal or physical—that does not begin with repentance and faith in Christ. *"For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). If she is already Yours, Lord, deepen her faith and let this season refine her like gold.
We also pray for her family—your wife, her children, and all who love her. Strengthen them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let them not grow weary in praying, trusting, or hoping, for You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust You with her life, her health, and her eternity. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
