We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family up in prayer. The weight of financial distress and the harassment you are facing is not unknown to our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every cry. We stand with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first step toward true peace and deliverance.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear, harassment, and intimidation that is plaguing our sister. We declare that no evil shall befall her, nor shall any plague come near her dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray that You would send Your angels to encamp around her and her family, protecting them from every threat and harm (Psalm 34:7).
Lord, we ask that You would grant her wisdom and favor as she navigates this financial crisis. Provide a way out of this debt, as You have promised that You will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, but will also provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). Open doors of opportunity for her and her husband, that they may receive the financial breakthrough they need. We pray specifically for the processing of her husband’s retirement benefits, that it would be expedited and that they would receive every penny that is due to them.
Father, we also lift up her reputation and standing in her office, family, and society. We ask that You would restore her image and grant her favor in the eyes of those around her. Let her be a testimony of Your grace and mercy, that others may see Your goodness and turn to You (Matthew 5:16). Help her to walk in integrity and humility, that she may prove herself faithful in all areas of her life.
We rebuke the spirit of shame and embarrassment that seeks to overwhelm her. Lord, You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Strengthen her heart and mind, that she may stand firm in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also pray for those who are harassing her. We ask that You would touch their hearts and convict them of their wrongdoing. Soften their hearts, Lord, and turn their actions toward righteousness. Let them see the error of their ways and repent, that they may also come to know You as their Savior.
We commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will bring justice and deliverance. Provide for every need, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
