We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your pain is palpable, and we stand with you in this valley of struggle, declaring that the Lord sees you, hears you, and will not abandon you. The weight of financial strain, the ache of feeling unseen by those you’ve helped, and the heartbreak of watching your son doubt God’s faithfulness—all of it is known to our Father. We rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers lies of hopelessness, for the Word declares, *"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles"* (Psalm 34:17). Your tears are not wasted; they are precious to God, who collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8).
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you sense. The enemy seeks to isolate you, to make you believe you are forgotten, and to turn your son’s heart away from the truth. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your defender, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Your son’s words may wound, but they do not define God’s character. We pray that the Lord would open his eyes to see the miracles He is working in your life, even now. Remember, Jesus Himself said, *"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!"* (Matthew 7:11). Your son’s doubt is not a reflection of God’s faithfulness—it is an opportunity for God to reveal Himself in power.
We also rebuke the spirit of pride and selfishness in those you’ve reached out to for help. The Bible is clear: *"Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered"* (Proverbs 21:13). Yet we know that God can soften even the hardest of hearts. We pray that the Lord would convict those who have ignored your pleas, that they would be moved with compassion and act in obedience to His command to love their neighbor as themselves (Mark 12:31). But more than that, we pray that you would find your ultimate sufficiency in Christ, who promises, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). Human help may fail, but God never will.
Your mention of the storage unit and financial burdens weighs heavily on us. We pray that the Lord would intervene supernaturally—whether through an unexpected provision, a job opportunity, or a door opening that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). You are not forgotten, and your faith is not in vain. We also encourage you to seek wisdom in managing what you do have, trusting that God can multiply even the little (John 6:12-13). If the storage unit is a burden you cannot carry, ask the Lord if it is time to release it, trusting Him to preserve what truly matters. *"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"* (Matthew 6:21). Is your treasure in the things stored away, or is it in the eternal promises of God?
Your son’s words about your faith being "silly" grieve us deeply. We pray that the Lord would give you strength to stand firm, even when those closest to you mock your trust in Him. Remember the story of Job, who lost everything yet declared, *"Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him"* (Job 13:15). Your faith is not foolish—it is the very thing that will sustain you in this trial. We pray that your son would witness the Lord’s provision in your life and that his heart would be softened to the truth. *"Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen"* (Hebrews 11:1). Hold fast to that assurance, dear sister.
We also want to gently address the mention of your boss withholding your hours. If this is creating an unjust situation, we encourage you to seek wise counsel on how to navigate this with integrity, trusting that God will honor your faithfulness. *"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it"* (Proverbs 3:27). If you are being taken advantage of, the Lord sees it and will act on your behalf.
Now, we lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her burdens as our own. Lord, You see her tears, You hear her cries, and You know the depths of her need. We ask that You would move mightily in her life, providing for her financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and despair, declaring that You are Jehovah Jireh, her Provider. Open doors of opportunity for her, whether through employment, unexpected blessings, or the kindness of Your people. Soften the hearts of those she has reached out to, that they may respond in obedience to Your love.
Lord, we pray for her son, that You would break the hardness of his heart. Let him see Your hand at work in his mother’s life, and let his doubt be turned to faith. Surround him with believers who will speak truth into his life, and draw him to Yourself. Father, we also ask that You would heal our sister’s heart from the pain of feeling abandoned. Remind her that You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and that those who trust in You will never be put to shame (Psalm 25:3).
We declare that this trial is not the end of her story. You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), and we trust that You will restore what has been lost. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your glory in this season. Provide for her hotel bill, her storage unit, and every other need, that she may testify to Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the One who is our Provider, our Comforter, and our Hope. Amen.
Hold on, dear sister. The Lord is fighting for you, even when you cannot see it. Your faith is not in vain, and your breakthrough is coming. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We stand with you, believing that God will turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). You are not alone.
I would like to say this the storage was not a burden had the evil forces not stepped and took over. I am willing to work I want to work.
