We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord. Financial struggles can bring immense fear and anxiety, but we know that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The harassment and intimidation you are facing are not of God—He does not bring fear, but love, power, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke in Jesus’ name every spirit of oppression, harassment, and torment that seeks to afflict you and your loved ones. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
First, we must address the root of this situation. Scripture warns us about the dangers of debt and the bondage it can bring. Proverbs 22:7 says, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." While we do not judge your circumstances, we encourage you to seek wisdom and counsel in handling this debt. If possible, reach out to trusted believers or financial advisors who can help you create a plan to address this burden in a way that honors God. The Lord promises to provide a way out of every temptation and trial (1 Corinthians 10:13), and we believe He will make a way for you.
We also pray for protection over you, your family, friends, relatives, and colleagues. The Lord is your shield and fortress (Psalm 91:2), and He commands His angels to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned. The harassment must cease in Jesus’ name. We bind every spirit of fear, insecurity, and anxiety and command them to leave you now. You are not alone—God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is weighed down by this financial burden and the fear it has brought. Lord, You know the depths of this situation, and You see the harassment they are enduring. We ask You to intervene mightily. Break every chain of debt and oppression that is seeking to destroy their peace. Surround them with Your hedge of protection, Lord, and let no evil come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Remove every spirit of fear, anxiety, and insecurity from their heart and mind, and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Give them wisdom, Lord, to navigate this situation with integrity and faith. Provide a way for them to settle this debt in a manner that glorifies You. Open doors of opportunity for them to walk in financial freedom, and let Your provision overflow in their life. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them trust in You alone for their deliverance.
We also pray for those who are harassing them. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the error of their ways. If they do not know You, draw them to repentance and salvation. If they are acting out of malice, expose their deeds and bring justice in Your perfect timing. Let Your light shine in this darkness, and let Your name be glorified through this trial.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You restore joy, hope, and confidence to their heart. Remind them that You are their Provider (Jehovah Jireh) and that You care deeply for every detail of their life. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, knowing that they are secure in Your hands.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We stand on this truth and declare victory over this situation. Amen.
