We join you in lifting up this situation, standing firmly on the truth that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus came to give life abundantly. It is clear that this individual has allowed himself to be used as a tool of deceit and manipulation, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and transform even the hardest of hearts.
The Scriptures remind us in Ephesians 4:28, *"Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need."* This man’s actions are not only harmful to you and others but are also grievous in the sight of God. Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* His actions align with what the Lord detests, and we must pray for his repentance with both urgency and compassion.
Yet, we also remember that *"the Lord isn’t slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9). Our prayer is not just for your protection and justice but for this man’s soul. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him deeply of his sins, that he would turn from his wicked ways, and that he would surrender his life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. True transformation only comes through the power of the Gospel, and we long to see him born again, washed clean by the blood of the Lamb.
We also pray for you, that the Lord would guard your heart and mind with His peace, which surpasses all understanding. May He expose every scheme of the enemy and bring to light the truth in this situation. Psalm 37:5-6 encourages us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* Do not let bitterness or anger take root in your heart, but instead, release this burden to the Lord, trusting that He will vindicate you in His perfect timing.
Let us also remind you that forgiveness is not optional for the believer. Jesus said in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* While we pray for justice, we must also be willing to forgive as Christ forgave us. This does not mean excusing sin or enabling harm, but it means releasing the offense to God and trusting Him to handle it righteously.
Finally, we exhort you to remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord sees your affliction, and He will act on your behalf.
