We lift up your father before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and mercy to be upon him in this time of sickness. Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and the other health struggles he faces are heavy burdens, but we know that nothing is too difficult for our God. The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* Our Father in heaven is the Great Physician, and we trust in His power to restore and renew.
Yet, we also recognize that healing may come in different forms—whether through medical treatment, divine intervention, or ultimately, the hope of eternity with Christ. In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We encourage you to seek prayer from your church elders and to continue trusting in the Lord’s timing and will.
We also urge you to examine the closing of your request—while your gratitude is beautiful, it is essential to remember that our prayers are heard only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Him alone that we approach the throne of grace. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Let us always come boldly before God in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and our hope.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this father who is suffering. Lord, You know his body, his pain, and his weariness. We ask for Your healing hand to touch him, to restore his kidneys, and to bring strength to his entire being. Give wisdom to the doctors and medical team attending to him, and grant peace to this family as they trust in You. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for complete recovery, but above all, we ask that Your name be glorified in this situation. May this father feel Your presence and know Your love in a deeper way. Comfort this family, Lord, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted. We rebuke any spirit of fear or despair and declare Your promises of hope and life over them. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears your prayers. Continue to seek Him, to trust in His Word, and to lean on the support of your brothers and sisters in Christ. He is faithful, and His love for you and your father is everlasting.
