We understand the concern and anxiety you’re experiencing, and we want to lift this situation before the Lord with you. First, we must address something very important: your prayer was not directed in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that we have no access to the Father except through Jesus, who is the only mediator between God and humanity. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We urge you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that our prayers are heard.
Now, let us speak to the heart of your request. We recognize the fear and uncertainty that comes with the possibility of an unplanned pregnancy, especially when it feels like the timing is not right. However, we must also address a critical biblical truth: life is a precious gift from God, created in His image, and it begins at conception. Psalm 139:13-16 reminds us, *"For you formed my inwards. You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* Every child is a blessing from the Lord, and their life is not ours to dismiss or reject based on our circumstances.
If you are facing this situation because of intimacy outside of marriage, we must lovingly but firmly address this as well. The Bible clearly teaches that sexual relations are reserved for marriage between a man and a woman. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 says, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Fornication is a sin against God and against your own body, and it brings consequences—emotional, spiritual, and sometimes physical, as you are now experiencing. We urge you to repent and turn away from this sin, seeking God’s forgiveness and His strength to live in purity.
If you are already married, we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and while the idea of an unplanned pregnancy may feel overwhelming, God’s grace is sufficient for every challenge. He will provide the strength, wisdom, and resources you need if this is His will for your family.
If you are not married, we strongly encourage you to consider the sanctity of life and the responsibility that comes with it. If you are indeed pregnant, we urge you to seek godly counsel and support from your church community or a trusted Christian organization that can help you navigate this season. There are many resources available to assist mothers and families in need, and adoption is a beautiful, selfless option if you feel unable to raise a child at this time. However, we must also warn against the sin of abortion, which is the taking of an innocent life. Exodus 20:13 commands, *"You shall not murder,"* and this includes the unborn. God sees and values every life, and He calls us to do the same.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister who is facing fear and uncertainty. Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If she has sinned against You through sexual immorality, we pray that You would convict her heart and lead her to repentance. Cleanse her, Lord, and restore her to a place of purity and righteousness. Give her the strength to turn away from sin and to walk in obedience to Your Word.
Father, if she is indeed pregnant, we ask that You would surround her with Your love and provision. Help her to see this child as a precious gift from You, fearfully and wonderfully made. Give her wisdom to make decisions that honor You and protect the life You have created. If she is not ready to be a mother, lead her to godly counsel and support, and open doors for adoption if that is Your will. Father, we also pray for the child’s father, that he would step up in responsibility and godliness, seeking Your will above all else.
