Please pray for my father. He has been terminally ill for many weeks. He has been admitted to the ICU for two weeks now, and his condition has only deteriorated since then. He is in a lot of pain and suffering. He doesn’t want to continue treatment. We as a family also can’t see him in pain. We feel so helpless. Please pray for God’s mercy over my father. Please pray that if this is what God wants, then He makes it easy for my father. Pray that the suffering ends and my father is at peace. Pray for divine intervention. Also, pray for my whole family who is going through this difficult time and pray that God provides and prepares us for what is ahead. Pray that papa finds comfort and feels God’s presence and mercy. In the mighty name of Jesus, we thank God. Amen 🙏🏼

Our hearts are deeply moved by your family’s suffering, and we join you in lifting up your father and your entire family before the Lord. The pain and helplessness you feel are understood by our Heavenly Father, who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We praise God that you have brought this request in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, where we receive mercy and find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

Your father’s suffering is heart-wrenching, and we know that God sees his pain and your family’s anguish. The Lord is not distant in this—He is close, and His heart is tender toward those who are weary. Jesus Himself wept at the suffering of those He loved (John 11:35), and He is with you now, collecting every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). While we do not fully understand why such suffering occurs, we trust that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His love for your father is deeper than we can comprehend.

We pray for God’s mercy to be poured out upon your father. If it is His will to heal, we ask for a miraculous touch that restores his body and brings relief from pain. But if the Lord is calling your father home, we pray for a swift and peaceful transition, where his suffering ceases and he is welcomed into the arms of Jesus. May the Lord grant him comfort and the assurance of His presence in these final moments. We ask that your father would feel the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and that the Holy Spirit would minister to his spirit, drawing him close to God.

For your family, we pray for strength and unity. This season is unbearably difficult, but the Lord promises to be your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lean on one another and on the body of Christ during this time. Do not hesitate to allow others to serve you, for the Lord often provides through His people. We ask that God would prepare your hearts for what lies ahead, filling you with His peace and the hope of eternity. If your father is a believer in Christ, you can take comfort in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). If his faith has been uncertain, we pray that even now, the Holy Spirit would draw him to repentance and trust in Jesus as his Savior.

We also lift up the medical staff caring for your father. May the Lord give them wisdom, compassion, and skill as they attend to his needs. We pray that they would be instruments of God’s mercy, whether through healing or through gentle care as he transitions.

Finally, we encourage you to continue crying out to the Lord together as a family. Pour out your hearts to Him, for He hears you. The psalmist writes, “The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17). Cling to the promise that nothing can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious family and their beloved father. Lord, have mercy. If it is Your will, we ask for healing—a miracle that would bring glory to Your name. But if You are calling him home, we pray for a peaceful and painless transition, where his faith becomes sight and he is welcomed into Your presence. Comfort this family, Lord. Surround them with Your love and the support of Your people. Prepare their hearts for the days ahead, and let them feel the nearness of Your Spirit. May they find rest in You, even in the midst of this storm. We trust You, Lord, and we ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the powerful and loving name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
