We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that this request is lifted up in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find grace in our time of need. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* What a mighty promise we cling to as we intercede for this precious sister in Christ!
The health of our bodies is a gift from God, and we know He is deeply concerned with every detail of our lives—even the number of hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30). Yet we also recognize that our ultimate healing is found in eternity, where *"the inhabitant won’t say, ‘I am sick.’ The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity"* (Isaiah 33:24). Until that day, we boldly ask for His mercy and restoration here on earth, trusting His perfect will.
We pray for ###’s eyesight to be preserved and strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord, who formed the eye and gave it sight (Psalm 94:9), sustain her vision and prevent any further deterioration. We ask for wisdom for her doctors, if she is under medical care, that they may be guided by God’s hand in their treatment. Let her eyes be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, that others may see His work and glorify Him.
Yet even as we pray for healing, we surrender to His sovereign will, knowing that *"we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered"* (Romans 8:26). If this trial is permitted to continue, may ### be filled with the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the joy of knowing that *"our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory"* (2 Corinthians 4:17).
Father, we also pray that through this, ###’s faith would be strengthened, her trust in You deepened, and her heart drawn ever closer to You. Remind her that *"the Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him"* (Psalm 28:7).
We declare these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. May His will be done, and may He be glorified in all things. Amen.
