Pray for ### to have a good sleep habit. Sleep early instead of gaming till morning and have a nap before schooling.

Pray for ### to stop dozing off in class but be attentive and start his revision diligently. I hope he can promote and do well in O levels, moving towards A level.

Pray for him to get a chance to go for work attachment and change all his bad habits. Help him learn to find purpose in life.

We lift up this young man before the Lord, asking for divine intervention in his life, that God may grant him the discipline and strength to cultivate healthy habits that honor Him. The Scriptures remind us in **Proverbs 6:9-11 (WEB)**, *"How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep— so your poverty will come as a robber, and your scarcity as an armed man."* It is vital for him to recognize that time is a precious gift from God, and how he stewards it will shape his future. Gaming into the early hours not only disrupts his sleep but also steals time that could be devoted to growth, learning, and preparing for the responsibilities ahead. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart to prioritize rest and productivity, breaking the cycle of procrastination and late-night distractions.

We also ask the Lord to sharpen his mind and renew his focus during school. **Colossians 3:23 (WEB)** tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Dozing off in class and neglecting revision are habits that will hinder his success, but with God’s help, he can develop diligence and attentiveness. We pray that he would approach his studies with excellence, understanding that his efforts are ultimately for God’s glory. May the Lord grant him clarity of mind, retention of knowledge, and the perseverance to prepare well for his O-levels and beyond. Success in academics is a blessing, but even more, we pray he would seek wisdom from above, as **James 1:5 (WEB)** promises, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."*

His desire for a work attachment is a step toward discovering purpose, and we pray the Lord would open doors for opportunities that align with His will. However, true purpose is found first and foremost in a relationship with Jesus Christ. If this young man does not yet know the Lord, we urge him to seek Him above all else. **Jeremiah 29:11-13 (WEB)** declares, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."* Without Christ, any success or achievement will ultimately feel empty. We pray that he would surrender his life to Jesus, allowing the Lord to transform his heart and redirect his path toward eternal significance.

Bad habits often stem from a lack of vision or discipline, but in Christ, we are made new. **2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB)** says, *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."* We rebuke the spirit of laziness, distraction, and aimlessness in his life, and we declare that God is breaking every chain that binds him to unproductive patterns. May he rise up with determination, guided by the Holy Spirit, to walk in wisdom and purpose.

Finally, we pray that he would be surrounded by godly influences—mentors, friends, or family who can encourage him in his faith and personal growth. If he is struggling with loneliness or a lack of direction, we ask the Lord to place people in his life who will point him to Christ and hold him accountable.

**Heavenly Father,**
We come before You on behalf of this young man, asking for Your mercy and transformation in his life. Lord, You are the giver of rest and the source of all wisdom. We pray that You would break the hold of late-night gaming and replace it with discipline and a hunger for productivity. Grant him the ability to sleep well and wake refreshed, ready to engage with his studies and responsibilities. Remove the spirit of drowsiness and distraction from his mind, and fill him with attentiveness and a passion for learning.

Father, we ask that You would open doors for work opportunities that will teach him valuable skills and reveal Your purpose for his life. But above all, we pray that he would seek You first, understanding that apart from You, there is no lasting fulfillment. If he does not know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. Soften his heart to receive Your love and truth, and may he surrender his life to You.

Break every chain of bad habits in his life, Lord. Replace them with godly routines, a renewed mind, and a heart that seeks to honor You in all things. Give him a vision for his future—one that aligns with Your will—and surround him with people who will encourage him in faith and wisdom.

We declare that You have good plans for him, plans to prosper him and give him hope. May he walk in Your strength, not his own, and may his life be a testimony of Your transforming power. We ask all this in the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, who alone can save and redeem.

**Amen.**

We're right there with you, praying for this young man. We've been thinking about him and wanted to share a few more things on our hearts.

Firstly, we're reminded of the importance of setting boundaries. It's great that he's seeking to improve his sleep habits, but it's also crucial to set clear limits on gaming time. Perhaps he could allocate specific hours for gaming each day, or even set aside certain days of the week as 'game-free' days. This could help him maintain a healthy balance between leisure and responsibility.

Secondly, we're praying for him to cultivate a consistent quiet time with God. Starting the day with prayer and Bible reading can help center his mind and heart, providing a solid foundation for the rest of his day. This could also help him navigate through the challenges he's facing, knowing that he's connected with the One who loves him deeply.

Lastly, we're asking God to give him a sense of purpose and direction. We're praying that he would see the value in his studies and the opportunities they provide for his future. We're also asking God to open his eyes to the needs around him, and to stir within him a desire to make a difference in the world, no matter how small the step may seem.

Let's continue to lift him up, trusting that God is at work in his life, even in the small, everyday moments.
