But let us remind you of what Scripture says: *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). You have already brought this before the Lord, and that is where your trust must remain.
We also encourage you to reflect on these words: *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). The enemy seeks to paralyze you with fear, but God has given you His Spirit to walk in confidence, knowing He holds your future. If discipline or conversations arise from this incident, we pray you will respond with humility and wisdom, trusting that God will use even this for His glory.
As for your marriage, we rejoice that you and your husband are building a home together. Remember, *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Keep your focus on Christ as the foundation of your marriage and your trust in Him as your provider. No weapon formed against you—whether fear, accusation, or financial uncertainty—will prosper when you stand firm in faith (Isaiah 54:17).
