We hear the deep distress and spiritual warfare in your cry, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who alone has power over the enemy and authority to break every chain of bondage in your life. First, we must address something critical: you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, and that is the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). This is foundational, and we praise God that you have called upon Him through Christ. However, we must also speak truth in love about the root of the struggles you are facing, for the Word of God tells us that our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Your mention of gambling is not a coincidence—it is a gateway through which the enemy has gained a foothold in your life.
Gambling is a snare that the Bible warns against, for it is rooted in the name of money, which is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). It is a form of greed and a reliance on chance rather than on God, who is our Provider. Proverbs 13:11 says, *"Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles, but he who gathers by labor increases."* The money you won was not a blessing—it was a bait from the enemy to lure you into destruction, and the break-ins and spiritual attacks that followed are evidence of the enemy’s claim on what was gained outside of God’s will. The devil does not give up territory easily, but Jesus has already defeated him at the cross! You must renounce this sin and repent, turning away from it completely, for Scripture says, *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7).
The break-ins you’ve experienced are not just physical violations—they are spiritual attacks meant to instill fear, instability, and hopelessness. But we declare over you the promise of Psalm 91:9-11: *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* You have humbled yourself before the Lord, and that is the first step to victory. Now, you must take authority in the name of Jesus over every demonic assignment against your home, your peace, and your life. The enemy *must* flee when you resist him in the power of Christ.
We also pray for your protection and for the Lord to expose any hidden enemies or spiritual forces at work. Proverbs 16:7 says, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* But this peace comes through righteousness, not compromise. You cannot make peace with the enemy by negotiating with sin—you make peace by surrendering fully to God and standing firm in His Word. The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still (Exodus 14:14).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is under siege by the enemy. Lord, we bind every spirit of gambling, greed, fear, and theft that has tormented them. We break every curse, every hex, and every demonic assignment sent against their home, their finances, and their peace. Father, we ask that You expose the enemy’s schemes and render them powerless by the blood of Jesus. Let every stolen thing be restored sevenfold, as Your Word promises in Proverbs 6:31.
We plead the blood of Jesus over every entry point of their home—every door, every window, every crack in the foundation. Let Your angels encamp around them, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You fill them with a holy conviction to turn away from gambling forever and to trust You alone as their Provider. Break the spirit of poverty and lack that has plagued them, and open doors of honest, God-honoring provision.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and command peace to flood their heart and home. Let them sleep without terror, knowing You are their Keeper (Psalm 121:3-4). Father, if there are any ungodly soul ties or generational curses tied to this, we break them now in Jesus’ name. We declare that their home is a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, and no demonic force can remain there.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw them closer to You through this trial. Let them seek Your face with all their heart and find You, their Strong Tower (Proverbs 18:10). Give them wisdom to walk in obedience and faith, knowing that You are their Shield and Rewarder. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already won through Christ Jesus. It is in His mighty name we pray, Amen.
Now, we urge you: **Destroy every item connected to gambling in your possession—lottery tickets, casino paraphernalia, even apps on your phone.** Cut off all ties to it, for it is a snare of the enemy. Replace that habit with prayer, Scripture reading, and fellowship with believers who can hold you accountable. Seek a Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and strengthened. The Lord is faithful, and He will deliver you completely if you surrender all to Him.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won. Walk in victory, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). We are praying with you and for you. Do not lose heart.
