We join with you in lifting up your heart’s cry to the Lord, seeking His perfect will for your life. It is beautiful to see you invoking the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture reminds us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). Your prayer aligns with the truth that our lives are to be surrendered to God’s direction, trusting that His plans are far greater than our own.
The Lord promises to guide those who seek Him wholeheartedly. *"I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you"* (Psalm 32:8, WEB). As you surrender to His leading, we pray that He will open doors no man can shut and close those that are not for your good. May He grant you discernment to recognize His voice above all others, for His sheep hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27).
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the study of God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). When uncertainty arises, cling to the promise that *"the Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand"* (Psalm 37:23-24, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who seeks Your will above all else. Lord, we ask that You lead them in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Remove any obstacles that may hinder their walk with You, and grant them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. May they be sensitive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, stepping boldly into the purposes You have prepared for them.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are the Good Shepherd who goes before them. Let them not lean on their own understanding but acknowledge You in all their ways, trusting that You will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or fear that may try to creep in, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, let Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in the fullness of Your blessings. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.
