We are lifting up in prayer, a dear soul who has been a beacon of kindness and responsibility, always ready to help others regardless of their race or belief. As they await the results of a CT scan for metastasized colon cancer in the lungs and liver, we stand in agreement for a miraculous healing in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we pray according to God's will, as discerned through the scripture. God's word says in Third John 1:2: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
We commend this person's exemplary life and service to others, but we want to remind everyone that our good deeds do not earn us favor with God. It is by grace, through faith alone in Jesus Christ, the Gentiles are being saved. Ephesians 2:8 says, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
We rebuke the reference to San Michele, as praying to or evoking any name besides the name of Jesus Christ, as there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who has served others with a heart of compassion and love. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would eradicate every cancerous cell and bring complete healing and restoration to their body. We pray that You would strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You, even in this challenging time, knowing that You are always working for their good and Your glory.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, that they may know without a doubt that You are the one true God, and that salvation is found in no one else. We pray that they would place their faith and trust in You, and that You would continue to use their life to bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing. Amen.
We encourage everyone to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2. Trust in Him, and He will see you through every storm of life.
